Sorry, all rubber rooms are already spoken for by Dean, Gore, McCaulliffe (sp., like I care), Kewwy, Mathews, Podesta, DeVine, Kucinich, well, you get the idea.
Instead, just go ahead and punch out the tv. I have.

I disagree. Ackroyd's take was bitter, MacDonald's was more fun. And MacDonald is a Dole fan.

There must be something in the Viagra! Even if Dole rips Kerry for 48 straight hours, he shouldn't go see a doctor!

Bush did not condemn the swifties. He has said all along that these types of ads need to stop. It would be hypocritical of him to stop saying that now that it's his supporters who are winning the battle.
I am quite sure the swifties knew it was coming, and that it won't stop them.

Inside word is that GOP leadership has told all potential Republican guests to boycott the Chris Matthews show. He never lets them talk anyway. Chrissie doesn't need any guests. He asks and answers all of his own questions.

Dole said
Kerry responded,
"I haven't spent one dime attacking President Bush." Nov 5th, 2000 (Campaigning for VP Gore)
"Those of us who were in the military wonder how it is that someone who is supposedly serving on active duty...can miss a whole year of service without even explaining where it went." (Made as a character attack on then-Governor Bush)
Note: This man must HATE the digital age, where all of his speeches and comments are recorded for all the world to see... Maybe he will change his story to say that he was near Pittsburgh, but not actually IN Pittsburgh on election eve 2000, so he couldn't possibly have made these statements.

I thought his acceptance speech was pretty good, but that was the last of it. I remember him directly taking on the teachers unions and thought, here we go! [As an aside, I never quite understood---beyond the obvious---why the teachers unions supported BJ Klintoon when he ranted about third graders not being able to read. Seems to me that was a direct indictment of the teachers.]
Condolences on being in the same zip code as George Mitchell.

Kerry "should" be proud.......Everyone who serves "should" be proud.....It depends on the meaning of the word "should". If you ran away, lied, falsified information etc. etc. than you might feel very guilty; but your actions "should" have been something you would be proud of....I'd think the praise would make sKerry feel even guiltier.

I think it's time for Dubya to step up to the plate and back off from his 'honorable' statement about Kerry and start supporting Bob Dole and his description of Kerry. Don't go wobbly on us Dubya. Dubya is playing this exactly right. Somethings go best unsaid.
To: Cboldt
Besides, I'd imagine in Kerry's mind, the only attack that would fall under that category is an advertisement.
So, if interviewed, and an attack should slip out, and be re-run by the news media, why, not one dime was spent...
So, if speaking at a fundraiser, or a campaign stop, and an attack should spring forth, why, here again, not one dime was spent...
Typical lawyer speak. Not, "I haven't attacked the Pres.," nor, "I've only responded to attacks," no, instead it's "I've not SPENT ONE DIME."
Statement, I dub thee nuance, and bid thee begone!
IMHO, of course...

Mark Antony said Brutus was an honorable man, too. Everybody in the crowd knew better. A brilliant observation!!
I think you've hit the nail on the head.
Honorable is as honorable does.

Not at all. Listen to Dole & Bush;
they're on seperate but parallel
tracks, & each does what their
current roles allow them to do.
Dole supports Bush, big time.
He'd say, "What knife in my back?"

Major Garrett just said on Special Report that the Kerry campaign is now admitting that Kerry's first PH may have come from an " unintentional self inflicted wound."

Did you think he left his honor and courage on that hillside in Italy? I know you didn't mean it, but it's still a poor choice of words.

So sitzpinkler Kerry is now whining to Dole, too? This guy is a grade A wuss!
What crap about "spending a dime" attacking Bush. He's spending the megadollars of his minion 527's and reaping millions in free anti-Bush ink from the MSM. Then he slams Bush in speeches which get plenty of airplay.
Heaven help us if this Pinnochio gets elected.
