The Kerry campaign released a television spot of its own over the weekend challenging President Bush to denounce the ads and demand that they be taken off the air.

The Kerry campaign essentially made this impossible when they filed that formal complaint with the FEC. Any such comment by the President regarding the SBVT ads will be seen as an implicit admission that the Bush campaign was behind the ads. Hence, there will be no such denunciation of the ads from the Bush campaign.

I do think that Senator Kerry losing his cool should not be an excuse for him to lash out at the President with false and baseless attacks."

Ouch!

The "F" in FEC stands for "feckless". And Kerry knows it.

This is a stunt.

Kerry, a liberofascist, wants to use the government to silence his critics. So typical...

Is it me or is this guy finished?

Trashing First Amendment rights is a terrible sign of desperation. Kerry's record should be scrutinized from top to bottom. Where does he think he is? Canada??

Kerry campaign spokesman Chad Clanton told Salon.com, "No publisher should want to be selling books with proven falsehoods in them ...."

You mean falsehoods such as being in Cambodia for Christmas of '68 and having "President" Nixon deny it?

The Kerry campaign is also demanding that a publisher recall all copies of John O'Neill's book "Unfit for Command."

Kerry campaign spokesman Chad Clanton told Salon.com, "No publisher should want to be selling books with proven falsehoods in them, especially falsehoods that are meant to smear the military service of an American veteran."

That SOB John O'Neill! Sue him Chad! Sue him! C'mon! Do it today. I'll pay the filing fees.

FReeper Puppage made the most brilliant statement the other day:

"John Scarry would rather spend 500k and LIE than release his medical records & tell the truth for free."

The next few weeks could be fun to watch.

"No publisher should want to be selling books with proven falsehoods in them,"

Didn't stop a movie studio from distributing F911, which was pretty much ALL proven falsehoods.

I am reading "Treason" by Ann Coulter. On page 31, she makes a comment about the movie The Manchurian Candidate, how it tries to smear McCarthy; with the McCarthy character choosing fifty-seven as the number of Communists in the government after seeing it on a bottle of Heinz ketchup.

In real life, McCarthy gave a speech indicating that he had the names of fifty-seven card-carrying Communists in the State Department.

Hmmm. Heinz Ketchup. Communists. Heinzz Ketchup. Red. 57. 57 Communists in the State Department. Heinz 57. Heinz 57 Communists. Heinz supports Communism. 57 Communists. Heinz.

At last, we can piece it together. All along there was evidence that Kerry was a Communist, and was literally under our noses!

If only the MSM would report the totality of what McClennan and Schmidt said!! (I know...dream on) But when I read the newspaper accounts, they only give McClennan's shortened response...not Schmidt's, which FINALLY touches the heart of the matter...the coordination and personnel swapping of the Dem 527's and Kerry.
Clark and Kerry himself speak the SAME talking points as the 527s. Contrast that with Bush's refusal to criticize Kerry's record (despite Kerry's denegration of Bush's service) while the Swiftboat Vets continue to say they don't care if it hurts Bush or not.
I pray the American public can see the difference!

Has anyone heard a peep from the "I have a right to free speech" Hollyweirdos about this?

Kerry Lies

War Criminal or War Hero,
See both you cannot be.
You claimed you burned a village,
Sounds like a crime to me.
Cambodia in Sixty-Eight,
You say that you were there.
You said Nixon said you weren’t,
Just why would Nixon care?
He wasn’t even president,
Till Nineteen Sixty-Nine.
But details never bother you,
Bold lies do suit you fine.
Three Purple Hearts for paper cuts,
A Bronze and Silver Star.
Then home you came, threw them away,
But look now, there they are.
You testified with still more lies,
About brave fighting men.
The things you claimed that they did,
Just aren’t true now or then.
So tell us please John Kerry,
Which lie we should believe.
Oh what a tangled web you weave,
You practice to deceive.

This is awesome. There is no way that the FEC will do anything, nor is there any way the book will be recalled. This will just enforce to the public that the charges are true when kerry fails on both attempts

"No publisher should want to be selling books with proven falsehoods in them, especially falsehoods that are meant to smear the military service of an American veteran."

This quote of Kerry's should ALWAYS be followed by THIS question.

Mr. Kerry, why did you buy up ALL copies of your book, The New Soldier? Mr. Kerry, why have you REFUSED offers to have your book reprinted?
