Here is a list of possible candidates: -Rudy Giuliani -George Pataki -Bill Frist -Rick Santorum -Bill Owens -Mark Sanford -Chuck Hagel -Mitt Romney -Sam Brownback -Condoleezza Rice
He won't get far, that's why I said to strike him from the list....no one outside of Nebraska knows him, and alot of us are upset with him. Although he CAN say that his Vetnam ribbons and metals ARE for real and that he bled alot along with his brother who was in his same unit..
I've been thinking the past few weeks that Fred Thompson would be an electable candidate if he could be dragged back into the fray. Wouldn't that frost algore - a real Tennessean and the man who held Al's old Senate seat as President while Gore takes another prozac/luvox cocktail and continues his meltdown.
What do you think?
What about George W? Since he was not legitimately elected in 2000, the next four years will be his first term, so he can run for a second in 2008.
Why note? Native born...over 35 in dog years...we could do worse.
Oh, I dunno. An Owens/Tancredo ticket could beat Her Heinous, IMHO.
We can't run a RINO like Rudy. He'd be good in a Cabinet position such as National Security Advisor, but not as President, IMHO.
We need another Reagan. Someone who has solid conservative credentials that can appeal to the masses the way The Gipper did.
Ditto that. Jeez!
I don't know much about Romney but he certainly looks presidential. Can anyone fill me in ?
I agree with you about Racicot but there's something fishy about him. I don't remember all of the points but as I recall he turned W down for a pretty big appointment after the 2000 democratic voter fraud issue in Florida. At that time he claimed he wanted to spend more time with his family. I don't know why he is reluctant but whenever the light shines on him he seems to back away.
Democrats? Are you new? You gotta be kidding me!
Santorum/Rice 2008.
We have to take every possible vote away from Hillary.
Racicot may be in the Bush Administration in the next term.
If Condi Rice is feeling sorry for the poor Palestinians, she should not be considered.
How about Tommy Franks? I don't know if he's a republican, though. He presents himself extremely well.
Barney would tear up Hillary in debate.
I guess it's never too early to fear monger. But hey, might as well get a headstart on the next election before this one is held.
What is it about Tancredo that makes him unelectable? He probably has the most popular position on immigration of any of the candidates mentioned.
I have read that Gingrich will make a comeback. So my prediction is Gingrich/Owens or Gingrich/Romey in 2008
MS gov Haley Barbour
