Yep. Have you noticed this?
Kerry Lies
War Criminal or War Hero,
See both you cannot be.
You claimed you burned a village,
Sounds like a crime to me.
Cambodia in Sixty-Eight,
You say that you were there.
You said Nixon said you werent,
Just why would Nixon care?
He wasnt even president,
Till Nineteen Sixty-Nine.
But details never bother you,
Bold lies do suit you fine.
Three Purple Hearts for paper cuts,
A Bronze and Silver Star.
Then home you came, threw them away,
But look now, there they are.
You testified with still more lies,
About brave fighting men.
The things you claimed that they did,
Just arent true now or then.
So tell us please John Kerry,
Which lie we should believe.
Oh what a tangled web you weave,
You practice to deceive.

Your point is absolutely correct. Those people who "didn't serve with Kerry" are the exact same people Kerry was using in his ads.
He kept running the pic, even after finding out everyone opposed him. The Swiftboat Vets gave their first press conference in May. Even Fox News snubbed it.
To: Blood of Tyrants
Even better, the one guy on the boat who is against him doesn't count.
If Kerry is such a great military leader, why does he alienate so many Vets? Hint: you don't get very far when you call your colleagues and commanders war criminals and fail to produce evidence and later claim to be a hero.

I'll note that this new talking point (still carries schrapnel) implies there is no scar to be seen, thus no evidence to prove or disprove. Just fog to give kerry voters a hook, albeit a weak one, to use.

Add to that [per the Kerry campaign]....
Kerry defenders, for the most part, did not serve with, even near, him. They include political hacks from previous administrations. Only one or two who actually served with or close by Kerry are defending him. But that is ok--because they are given credibility to defend Kerry anyway.
Kerry detractors must have served on the boat with Kerry for them to be credible. Those who served even on other boats in the area are not deemed credible.
Additionally, it is ok for the Dem supporting 527's to attack Bush, but it isn't ok for the SBV's to attack Kerry---and that is Bush's fault.
And the beat goes on.....and the beat on.

THIS NEVER GETS REPORTED!!!
Kerry used these vets' pictures without permission.
Now, he slanders them.

Each time I see this picture, I see four guys standing together, and John Kerry standing apart from them (or them apart from him). The subtle body language in that photo speaks volumes.

I own a metal detector and until I hear it buzz over Kerrys arse I aint buying the shrapnel line.

Have those other guys been identified and have they given any interviews?
Someone, a couple of weeks ago, posted that the photo may be fake, because the shadowing seems awkward. I haven't seen any follow up on that.

Kerry defenders, for the most part, did not serve with, even near, him. Most never served at all.

I identify the guy in the background as Lt.Dan which means that maybe Kerry is really Forest Gump.

You make a good point, they both got hit in the "buttocks" while rescuing a comrade! I guess that Forrest Gump was really all about Kerry, as well as Apocalypse Now. Tell you what, Kerry is delusional, and we are in a heap o' trouble if he is elected in November.

Have you noticed none of his band of brothers ever goes on TV to debate SBVT members? It's always some kerry veteran coordinator -- who wasn't there and wouldn't know.

I'm curious about David Alston. There's been speculation he did not serve 'with' Kerry because he was injured, yet he's publicly testified to Kerry's actions. I'm wondering whether he won't appear because Odell, et al., would simply say 'How do you know, you weren't there at the time.' Ha ha ha. That would be very funny.
