The "John Flapjack Kerry" camp is in complete disarray. Now look, you diehard dems know it and you can see it playing out right before your eyes.
I know that now you're thinking to yourself thoughts like "I wonder if Dick Gephardt would be in this position?" or "Jo-motion wouldn't have had these kinds of issues..."
AND YOU'RE RIGHT...
But you let the nut-wing lefties wrestle control away from you in the primaries. The reasonable ones among you did not speak up when Farenheit 9/11 called into question the patriotism of even our nation's military service men and women. And even when there were 59 specific points of fact that were proven false in the Michael Moore "film" you just sat there assuming that your guy was taking a lead and that he would make it all good after the election.
ON THAT YOU'RE NOT RIGHT...
John Kerry has proven to be one constant mistake after another. You know it and I know it. I mean for crying out loud he couldn't even get the Ohio State Buckeyes/Michigan Wolverine thing straight and its only the biggest rivalry in all of College sports...
Kerry's decision to take on the Swift Boat Vets publicly suddenly gave them mainstream attention in the media. And people, even IN the media are figuring out that these guys aren't pulling this stuff out of their backsides. Nope, the SBVs are reasonable - even likable people. Some of them are democrats, some of them are republicans, some of them are independents. Some of them would have supported a Gephardt for President without question. Some of them voted for McCain. But one thing is clear - they think Kerry is a danger as commander in chief. And I don't know about you but when an officer's ENTIRE chain of command pegs him a bad apple - to me it counts for something.
NOW THEY'VE GONE AND DONE IT...
Just about the time Kerry started his belly-aching about the Swift Boat Vets (shameless plug here - John O'Neil/my show/on Tuesday), they had to move on to what I believe will be a far MORE damaging ad. Using Kerry's own voice they juxtapose him saying how they had cut off ears, and heads, and electrically shocked people's gentials, with former Prisoners of War who underwent torture to keep from admitting what John Kerry said before the Senate for free.
This is what will KILL John Kerry - from this point forth on the Veterans vote - and for Kerry - to the Vet's - he's dead.
And according to polls out this weekend it looks like his position on Partial Birth abortion (he supports it), Live Birth Abortion (he supports it), Abortion on demand (he supports it), and aggressively promoting the gay agenda and ready to do the bidding of the "same sex marriage" lobby (he supports them all) - the Catholics have had it with him too.
Add to that the fact that Bush is polling 28% of the African American vote in California and 43% of the Latino vote in that same state and this all just has to make you hate life.
And by the way - when John Kerry went from "Bring it on..." to "Stop it their picking on me..." he pretty much lost the whole "ability to lead" thing as well...
AND THAT'S JOHN KERRY AND HE'S "REPORTING FOR DUTY"...
What you don't know is that they're already on strong meds, in restraints and they're still flipping out. Actually that's normal for DU.
That is awesome news!
Try three days!! He made his latest "Bring it on" remarks just last week! What a weiner!
Exactly. A week or two ago the mainstream media was ignoring the Swift Boat Vets...and now Kerry has managed to make it the main issue of the campaign.
My wife and I were never able to have children. We adopted and would continue to do so if possible. People who use abortion as a cure for their life style are killers in the worst way. There was a artical on free republic of a woman who when she found out she was pregnant with tripplets she aborted two of them and kept one child, a boy. Because she thought it would be inconvenient to have tripplets. We would take a kid any day, or two or ten. It cost so little to have an abortion, but it takes a years wages to adopt. My partner in buisseness and I had a falling out and I lost all I own, otherwise we would have adopted again. The price to stop abortionist is never to high.
Must read "ping"
I love that picture!
Everybody, don't forget Kerry's Campaign resorted to sending his 2 daughters to be on one of the Morning Talk shows! Except for Podesta, I don't think anybody really big in Kerry's campaign was out defending him. I didn't watch(usually don't)any of the talk shows so I could be wrong.I'm going by the comments on the thread-"Sunday Morning Talk Shows."
excellent letter
I would like to know where THAT poll came from. It's too good to be true.
Yesterday we went to the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia, Missouri, and I spent the whole day looking at what stickers and buttons people had on their clothes. I was supposed to enjoy the fair, but my brain was full of politics.
Bottom line: 50/50.
I realize Missouri is a swing state, and the race in this state is very close. The people out there are not informed like people here at Free Republic. They don't pay attention. They are the same people who voted for Clinton in 1996...I still can't get over it!!! I am extremely worried about the elections and I will not relax until November 3.
We can NEVER NEVER NEVER get over-confident!!!
Teraazza has been MIA recently. Too bad, I'd love to see her get into the Swifties debate, but rumor is that she and John aren't on very good terms.
LMAO!!!!!!!!!
Hey Kerry, why the long face?
What a terrible war these babies are fighting. Pray for them.
'I love that picture!'
isn't it the best!! right click on it and say set as background, then it can be your desktop....
If Bush would run ads, in Spanish, on the radio in California re the gay "marriage" issue, he'd win the Latino vote, and thus lock up California.
I wonder when Ta-RAY-za is going to call his bluff?
I heard about other polling in CA and they said that Kerry is barely ahead of Bush by 3 pts. I'm stunned.
I know CA went R for the recall .. but that was Arnold.
I also saw recently that a group of Black Pastors had joined the Bush side of the isle. Because of the marriage thingy and Bush's faith based programs.
I heard that too, Jeff .. something about a documentary ..?? That's all I've heard.
Well .. let the dem supported kooks show up. Just tell the public this is what the dem party is .. a parade of kooks supported by the Tides Foundation which is funded by TA-RAY-ZA!!
Yes they are .. and after 8 years of experience with one .. we should know!!
