I had an epiphany while watching Bob Dole on CNN earlier today. It became crystal clear why the Ketchup Boy is hiding his records and refuses to sign the SF180...I will bet dollars to doughnuts that there are trails which clearly show that he put himself in for at least that first Purple Heart and was denied. It has to map out how he circumvented the system in order to collect his medals. That is, indeed, the smoking gun in this fiasco.
I hate to restate the obvious, but I believe that it cannot be said too much. John Kerry MUST sign the SF180 or this will surely become much worse for him before it is resolved. His butt-boys in the MSM have to know that as well. That should be the constant refrain from everyone that is seeking the "complete" truth in this deal.
SIGN THE SF180!!!

Yeah, you know that Bush and crew have a full accounting of what is in Kerry's files.
As Commander in Chief, Bush himself may be able to release them in the interest of national security.
Timing.
It might show his forged signature on his first PH medal application......

Hey hey! Ho ho! Kerry sign the 180!
> If the RECORDS verify what KERRY has stated he is
> either waiting for the opportune time to release ...
Seriously doubtful. The Kerry camp has been completely
surprised by the SBVFT challenge, and could not have
pre-strategized an SF-180 maneuver.
They never planned to release the records still sealed.
If those records were laudatory, they'd have been part
of the package released when the decision was made to
make the 3-hour-tour the campaign centerpiece.
Kerry keeps trying to pick a fight with Bush over military records.
Kerry should be careful what he wishes for.
My husband says Bush is light years ahead of the Democrats, and Bush is just playing Kerry. Bush will nail him eventually, when he chooses, and that'll be the end of this "Elect Kerry" nonsense.
Kerry's not a poker player. He "turns his boat right into the attack" (even if SOP says not to). He has never kept his powder dry in this campaign.
He doesn't think - he lashes out like a wounded animal. A most unattractive personality trait in a would-be President. It's showing.
He's a straight arrow type of guy. If Bush screws up, he also says so.
He thinks Bush is very good at what he does, and Kerry is not. The Bush team has foresight, something the democrats lack.
Because the Bush team has foresight, they can actually plan ahead and decide what direction they want to push the democrats, and then quietly set them up for the kill without getting their hands too dirty.
Do I smell an "October Surprise"?
Good discription of Kerry
Bush may be sitting back and laughing his ass off at how Kerry has dug himself into his own political grave. And the leftists call Bush dumb. Dumb like a fox! Bush has outfoxed them all so far. He knows with leftists, all you have to do is give them enough rope. Sooner or later they'll hang themselves.
Go Bush/Cheney 2004!
As Commander in Chief, Bush himself may be able to release them in the interest of national security.
Bad move. If Bush were to do this, then the story becomes Bush abusing his position as Commander in Chief by releasing private information about a political opponent. It won't matter what's in Kerry's records - the mainstream media will focus all of their attention on Bush, giving Kerry a way out of the hole he's dug for himself.
I would prefer to see the President wait until the debates, and let Kerry bring up the subject of the Swift Boat vets, and how they "are in collusion with the Bush campaign" (and you know he will!). At that point, all GW Bush would need to do is calmly deny the allegation, and politely point out that Kerry can clear the whole matter up simply by signing the SF 180 and releasing his records. The President can then smile at him and ask "why haven't you done that, John"?
