Its too late to fix the problem this year...but I think it ought to be fixed by congress next year. The sentence ought to be real simple, with some dedicated to TV advertising to folks what will happen to them. The sentence...30 days in the local jail, and your right to vote in any election taken away for 12 years. That would quickly get their attention, and anyone who comes out against it...basically is saying they approve of double-voting.

As I type this it occurs to me that the Left in thi country is a criminal enterprise that, to survive, is in a death struggle for the national treasury. Their only hope is to convince the non-productive people in society that if elected, they'll tax the productive memebers to the hilt and 'even things out'.
Since we currently have a population that's about evenly split between the productive and the non-productive, we're in relative balance.
If 911 or some similar disaster were to happen with a liberal in office, the opportunity to enslave the working class will be exploited immediately.

It's not that hard to do. They obviously know who is registered in both states. Check the poll records in both locations. If they sign for a ballot in two states for the same election, they go to jail. They actually are guilty of two separate crimes by voting in two states.

In Philly, its not the percentage registered, its the percentage voting. What happens is that in certain precints there are literally no Republicans and the polls are not located in the most savory places. After the polls close, the RATS go inside and vote the entire roll. Thats why Though Philadelphia is a compact county it takes forevere for its results to come in. This is why the RATS complain so loudly at Republican efforts to monitor polling places. They claim it is racism, but the facts is it causes them to have to spend the time and money collecting the voters and bringing them to the polls.

I don't remember the exact numbers (700,00 comes to mind), but the number of registered voters roughly equals the voting age population. It may even be a little more. The registration numbers suggest every adult in Philly is registered to vote. This is of course impossible, especially considering some of the adults are immigrants (legal or otherwise), felons, or simply not interested in the political process. Obviously many of the "voters" are phantoms who have long since died or moved.
If the voter rolls were more accurate, poll workers wouldn't be able to vote for the excess registrants. Nor would Dems be able to use walking around money to pay $10 per vote to people they bus/van to numerous polling places.
The key to reform in Philly, and other cities, is purging the voter rolls and starting over. But it won't happen. In some states the D's could never again win state wide elections without the big city fraud.
Hopefully, the double-dippers will be weeded out long before Nov. 2.

The largest area of double voting, IMO, is "students" voting in both their "Home state" and in the state where they attend school. Unless they have 2 drivers licenses, which they might, I think they should vote where they have their drivers license address.
I don't have the stats, but I would bet that at least 50% of "students" are attending school out of their parents home state. This area of double registration has bothered me for over 30 years. No one will listen to me.

Of the 46,000 registered in both states, 68% are Democrats, 12% are Republicans and 16% didn't claim a party.

I suggest a fine of $25,000 and public listing of the perps. On an internet site. That way, Election officials in all states can reference the site for information.

I don't think it's illegal to be registered to vote in two places...It is illegal to vote in two places.
I'm pretty sure it IS illegal to register in two places. When you register to vote, you are to state your prior registration, and the County Registrar of Voters is to notify the prior location of your change. They fall behind on this miserably, "due to lack of funding".
There are lots of statistics used in polls, funding for various state and county expenditures, and many of them are based on "registered voters". This creates false information, on which further expenditures are chosen.

And we have a media which has more in common with Karl Marx than with John Milton. I would be no less forgiving if the Republicans were playing dirty...
What are the residency requirements? If a Lib has a home in New York and in Florida, they'll certainly claim Florida as their primary residence and vote in that state.
I don't see how Bush wins Florida if that happens in large enough numbers.
