Please consider articles of impeachment for this judge who is violating our civil rights as Christians in America, and especially in the state of Texas. As many of you know in Congress, the Judicial system is out of control, and something must be done.
These judges like Mr. Lake, have taken over your jobs, and are ignoring all of your legislation.
When will someone in Congress have enough intestional fortitude to bring a balance back to our system????
Please tell me what we can do to help you in this effort, and the steps we need to take.

Judge says Bible must be removed from courthouse display in Houston HOUSTON A federal judge in Houston has given Harris County ten days to remove a Bible from a monument outside its civil courts building. Judge Sim Lake ruled that the display is unconstitutional and ordered the county to pay 41-thousand dollars in court costs and attorney's fees. Lake said Harris County should be exercising religious neutrality and "not be seen as endorsing Christianity." Attorney Kay Staley says she sued the county last year because of the controversy in Alabama over a judge's refusal to remove a Ten Commandments monument from the state's judicial building. She calls her court victory "a wonderful day for religious freedom and religious diversity." Copyright 2004 Associated Press. All rights reserved. So if impeachment is now the normal course of action for the losing party in court, it would seem that every judge will be subject to impeachment.
And here all this time I though an appeal was the proper procedure....
Abuse of power rates impeachment, if that is what occurred.
There is NO provision for "separation of church and state" in the Constitution.
And the First Amendment only deals with laws the Congress might attempt to make relative to religion, either to restrict it or promote it...nothing about a local judge removing any mention of religion from the Public Square.
Guess we can save a lot of court cases and costs by just having all judges check in with you first.
Ever since Marbury vsL Madison, judges have been interpreting the Constitution, some rightfully so, some wrongfully so. Again, as I pointed out, the correct approach is to appeal the decision, and if it was so unconscionable as to warrant impeachment, then I'm sure it will be overturned.
Dear Kay Staley: Please come over to my house so we can talk. Come alone.
