As Senator Kerry's campaign unravels, is it just a matter of time before the dems turn on him and force him to step aside for the good of the party?
What is the latest that the dems can pull a Lautenberg? And who will they get to replace him?

They're stuck with him. If he steps aside, Bush will take 48 states.

The dems will screech if they cannot pull a Lautenberg at Zero Hour -- no matter what the laws say.

The Torricelli option... it's been field tested. I wouldn't put it past 'em.

Whether he steps aside or not, Bush will take 48 states or close enough.

You are onto something. Where are all these entitled ones? Why are they not stepping forward to protect and honor their man? This stuff is great.

Nauseating thought but it could happen
To: proudpapa
Kerry is the nominee of the Democratic Party and will remain so. He's going nowhere.

The second they even hint at doing so they've lost: they picked the finest over-stuffed left-wing of turkey they've ever found, and they'll have to wait until it turns to crow on Nov. 2nd before dining.
