I am seeing no number in the "in forum" link. Where, specifically is it located?

When I change the ID#, it shows me the freeper associated with that #. For example, ID#2 comes up (unknown) and ID#3 comes up 'Eric'. Does (unknown) mean that the freeper is no longer active, ie., hasn't posted since a certain reprogramming a few years ago, or does it mean that that freeper is banned and no longer allowed to post?
Also, is there any fast way (short of entering #s 1 - 110,000 or whatever) to know how many ID#s now come up as (unknown)?

I'm just a newbie here and still can't find the number of posts, etc. Welcome to my fellow newbs.

Same here, Problem is I was running my own site and hanging out at Talkspot.com with James Golden (AKA B0 Snerdly) and Steve Malzberg. I manged to meet both gentlemen, I still keep in touch with Golden and I ran Malzberg's website for a while. Didn't have that much time left for FR. I finally jumped in right before the election in 2,000 because I saw what was coming and did all those lonely FReeps with other FReepers in Times Square during the Florida debacle. I am still waiting for my check, the media kept telling me I was part of a paid mob.

If I had gotten off my butt in 1998 (when I first lurked--the "Quidam" theads were a hoot) I would have been one of the granpas.
Instead, I'm the indignant uncle.

Seems just like yesterday. Time dilation I guess. As you get older the days seem to go as fast as minutes did when you were younger. I could swear that a week seemed like a year when I was 10. Now I blink and the damn month is gone.

You and I started the same month. I lurked for a while before I started posting. I started posting during the Klamath protest. The Grange was deeply envolved. Though most don't seem to know about it.

Very true........very true indeed.
A months feels like a year to a 10 year old,but a year feels like a day,when you reach a certain age.
