So, does longevity automatically give you credibility?
How about age?

"You're #56! Wow!" Do you like older gentlemen? I'm in my 40's and my mind and body haven't failed me yet:) I just go on to the next feat:)
Huggies, while I root out the troll and hand it on a platter to Admin Moderator.

Been here a few months and still haven't got the hang of it.I haven't been welcomed but better yet I haven't been flamed.I do love this site though...totally addictive! I was surprised to see that my number is 7210, so I was practically a founding member. I sometimes go weeks or even months without responding to anything; but, usually lurk several times a day. I have been treated very nicely and flamed pretty harshly a few times. I try to be "nice" but don't always succeed.
The people here are generally intelligent and patriotic. Sometimes they can really surprise you. Most Freepers seem to be very moral and all around good people. However, the range of opinion sometimes can be shocking. For example, the differences of opinion regarding the Van Dam case (the little girl that was kidnapped from her bedroom while her parents partied) out in San Diego was fascinating. Some people seemed to approve of, or at least not object to wife swapping. Even people that I had always viewed as very respectable, admirable people. That has been my biggest surprise on Free Republic. I don't think I'll ever understand that.
The thing that I think we all have in common is that we all love the United States and want to protect it. Thank God for that and thank God for Free Republic.

Another neat little trick, once you have found your #, you can change the number in the address bar, then click on go and see who pops up!

"I am a psychic of immense proportion"If you are, you would have responded before the statement you responded to. But you didn't, therefore I am suspicious.
