Beautiful. All the while Bush is sitting quietly in the harbour with every gun loaded awaiting the moment he pulls along the Kerry ship, which has shot its wad and is defenseless, and delivers such a devestating broadside that it will be considered and act of mercy.

Well, the Republicans went to court to try to stop all these types of activities, taking the position that they were illegal. The Republicans lost that battle when the courts said no, that the Democratic fund-raising activities were in accordance with law. It wasn't until then that the Republicans began similar activities. I guess losing the battle may help them win the war! ;-)

Unfrickinbelieveable. With all the arrows thrown at President Bush during the last year with book after book after book - all prominently displayed at every single frickin' bookstore - not once did he suggest they shouldn't be sold. Same goes for all the vitriolic ads out by MoveOn.org, ACT, etc. That's right. President Bush always just said something like, "Isn't freedom great?"
This man cannot become president.

Why doesn't he just file a slander lawsuit?
Oh, riiight, then he'd be subject to discovery by the Swifties.

What do you think the polls will show if the FEC rules the ads are NOT misleading and not connected to the Bush campaign?????? :) The internals must be so bad that the campaign is willing to stake everything on this lawsuit. In the public mind, there will be a winner and a loser. This tells us the Kerry campaign itself has decided there's nothing left to lose, might as well bet the house. Huge, hugh, whatever.

Question for all regarding MoveOn.Org and 527 rules
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1192963/posts
MoveOn.org's Swift Response to Anti-Kerry Ad
"...Asked why Bush should be responsible for an ad by an independent group with the same legal status as MoveOn, Eli Pariser, the PAC's executive director, said: "They're clearly a surrogate organization. The Bush campaign has a responsibility for what's being done on its behalf. Certainly if Kerry felt MoveOn was doing something he didn't agree with, he has every right to condemn our ads."..."
Mr. Pariser claims the Swifties are working on Bush's behalf, a 527 no-no. So, by his logic, isn't he admitting that MoveSorosOn is doing the same for Kerry? Shouldn't an FEC complaint be filed against MoveOn too?

As I said elsewhere, any observer--neutral or partisan--can see that Kerry's cracking up.

Democrats are scum. Their leaders are scum. I am no longer willing to think we just have a difference of opinion.
Dad and I were talking about that a few weeks ago. I told him I could almost remember a time when Democrats wanted big government and Republicans wanted big government but not quite as badly . . . they were going the same place and only disagreeing about who got to sit shotgun.
Now you can't convince a Democrat that George Bush isn't Beelzebubba, and you can't convince a Republican that John Kerry isn't a delusional liar.
Or, if you do get a Democrat to admit that Kerry has serious credibility issues and a propensity for fantasy that frankly should worry people who ponder the fate of the world and whose hand is on the button . . . it doesn't matter, because the Democrat will still vote for Kerry, because Satan himself would be better than Bush.
How it'll be resolved - if it can be resolved - I can't foresee. I worry that the revolution is coming and we're all fat, stupid, and complacent.

Re: Moveon.org.
I think I heard on Limbaugh today that Kerry's Camp will not be asking them to shutdown moveon.org, since
moveon.org was established before Kerry filed to run, unlike Swiftboatvets.org, which was established after Kerry
filed.
