Kerry: Why is the Media Accepting His new "Sporting" Lifestyle Without Questions?
self | 08-19-2004 | Robert A Cook

Posted on 08/20/2004 6:08:34 AM PDT by Robert A Cook PE

Kerry has made a GREAT DEAL of photo op's doing incredible "youthful and hip" sports during this campaign: windsurfing, snowboarding, skiing, sail-windboarding, bicycling (several times: road bikes as well as mountain bikes....)

He's now over 60 (Did you now he served in Vietnam in '69-'70 as a 22-24 year-old?)

Has he EVER done any such sports before in public, or in private? Any previous "surfing" expeditions?

Have any previous photo's ever been presented or recorded about these "life-style" sports PRIOR to this campaign?

Hey, are you questioning Kerry's INTEGRITY??
Right here on FreeRepublic? - you should be ashamed of yourself.

Kerry has the legs of a desk jockey.

He's also voting for President Bush.

Wow! Now that's the ultimate flip-flop!

Mark Steyn had a great article in the paper yesterday (Manchester Journal-Enquirer). I couldn't find it on line.

He talked about Kerry's recent claims (made in South Dakota) about how he enjoys hunting for deer with his 12 gage, crawling along the ground.

Steyn notes that those who actually hunt deer quietly snicker at this. He explains that deer is usually hunted while camouflaged but standing up, or from a tree stand.

He then wonders why Kerry, who looks like an old tree anyway, would rather hunt horizontally and not use his natural camouflage to his advantage.

Snowboarding and windsurfing aren't easy, so he has surely done them before.

He got lessons in snowboarding and wind surfing while he was playing hookey from the Senate, during Intelligence Committee meetings, for example.

When the campaign is over, Kerry will begin his endorsement of Viagra.

It's not only the deer hunting, snowboarding and windsurfing...there's the yacht, and the $8000 Italian bicycle too. Kerry, Man of the People, has the bucks and the *time* (for God's sake, where does he get the time?) to indulge in the sports of the super-rich.

Hi, What's PE?
As for your post, I also noticed this, and especially the fact that all these sports are so expensive!
I hope it back-fires like the Duvaliers, who broadcasted their high-priced parties to show 'the people' how important and respected they were, and the people were outraged.
In explanation though: the point is probably to 'sex' him up a bit: explaining all the sexual references with his wife, her sexiness, his desires for famous actresses and the openness with his wife in his tastes for one of them...

And it's a Kennedy thing.

Bingo.

Do any reading about the Kennedys and you'll quickly learn that John Kennedy was an absolute fabrication created and manipulated by Joe and the northeastern liberal media. For example, neither John's senior thesis nor "Profiles in Courage" was written by John, who was a lousy student and writer, but by Joe's surrogates. Furthermore, the PT-109 incident for which John got so much credit only happened because John was asleep at the wheel as he was supposedly commanding his boat. The list goes on.

Effin has studied the Kennedy model carefully and has many of the same accomplices. The good news for us is that Effin doesn't have nearly the charisma that JFK had.

I'm afraid that we really are at a point in this country where character means nothing. I hope I'm proven wrong in November.
