I read somewhere, that Kerry was "advised" to leave Vietnam for reasons involving the contempt and distrust his fellow officers held for Kerry..
I prefer to believe that Kerry PLANNED to secure his 3 PHs, some fraudulent medals for Valor and his staged home movies -- and get the hell out of Dodge.
Ya just gotta love the grief the Swift Boat Officer are pouring on Kerry sorry ass.... I love it...and feel such a debt of gratitude to those brave men..

You're probably right. My speculation was based on his innate sliminess, and my knowledge that in some Pacific Rim countries a hit could be bougt for US 200.00 I'm glad his attempt to "steal valor" is getting ruinated.
While Lehman was on the 911 Commission-now officially disbanded-he was all over television. Now he's nowhere to be found. Looks like his little favor to Senator John Kerry in 1986 is gonna bite him in the ass. He really does need to explain this.
This and his "Boy Scouts" statement in New York City during the Commission hearings just goes to show Ronald Reagan wasn't as infallible as we might have thought.
bttt..
That brought me to the shocker of the interview. To hear John Kerry speak about his time in Vietnam is to hear a self-personified story of heroics. Lt. Wright remembers what happened after Kerry's third purple heart quite differently.
When he got his third purple heart, that evening, and we didn't particularly care what it was for, we knew that he had three. That evening, I and two other people went in and told him that we felt that he should go home. It was something that he could do ... He told us that he didn't want that, it was his intention to serve his country, and the next morning he was gone. And we were happy and didn't worry about it.
John Kerry was barely able to endure four months on SWIFT boat detail. Since I am sure the War on Terror will endure a bit longer than that, the idea of him commanding our troops with his unsteady hand is making me ... well ... seasick.
Yes, I saw that also.... Interesting..
Thanks for pinging me to it.
I wonder why Kerry doesn't use the story -
"the men sent me home -- I didn't want to go"???
