Have you noticed the typical mainstream media and their handling of the Swift Boat affair? Chris Matthews has Max Cleland on his show. Now what the heck does Max know about the SwiftVets? NOTHING!

The rest of these pinheads are simply staffing their shows for ratings pimping for Kerry.

I saw the part where Chris was harping on Michelle. Asking her if she thought Kerry shot himself to get a purple heart. Not asking her if she thought Kerry got a purple heart for an accident. That was about all I could stand.

Chrissy better be careful about pissing off Michelle Maulkin. She's about ten times tougher and a thousand times smarter than he is. She'll eventually find a way to have him for lunch, mark my words.

What? Mainstream media less than fair and balanced? I'm shocked. Shocked and saddened. Deeply saddened actually.

What I noticed was: a. blanket coverage; b. panic in liberals' voices. John Kerry's quagmire.

Sorry, but Matthews doesn't come close to qualifying as the mainstream media!

Hardball is nothing but a Chris Matthews fan club get-together.

The show is soft just like the host.

Can someone post the "real" e-mail addresses to these pimps so we can give them our point of view? I know...won't do any good...but I have voted Republican all my life and some of them were elected. So...I want to cast my "vote" to the liberal networks...I'll feel better knowing that one of them had to make a trip to the trash can to throw me out!

I think we are about to se a whole trainload of media talking points unloaded onto the public airwaves in an attempt to stop the swifties before we get too close to the election to recover. This is going to get reeeealy nasty around the time of the Repub convention in NY. Be prepared for a bunch of in your face loud mouthed verbal vomit.

Of course, these so-called "journalists" could settle the matter by insisting that Kerry release his military records. They would if truth were their agenda.

Unfortunately, truth for its own sake is not even a consideration for them. They serve the propaganda interests of the Democrat Party and thus, rather than search for truth in the matter, resort to ad hominem attacks on those who raise issues that do not serve their agenda.

If one assumes for the sake of example that the charges against Sen. Kerry were true, would these "journalists" advise those who knew the truth to remain silent or disclose what they know?

Obviously, a truth-seeking journalist would advise them to tell what they know and then verify the truth or mendacity of what they have said.

On the other hand, these propagandists, masquerading as journalists, insist that they remain silent and, if they will not, seek to destroy their credibility regardless of the truthfulness or lack thereof of what they are saying.

In fact, their attempts to destroy the credibility of those who bear witness reveal that they are afraid that the charges may be true.

If they were not afraid of this, they would merely seek to refute the charges.

I don't know how she's been reporting on this. But I'd like to see Michele really get offended over Matthews treatment and make it her mission to collect the unvarnished facts on these various Kerry incidents. She could do it, before Vietnam, during, after.

I am beginning to see this as the calm before the storm that will sink Kerry. My local bookstores are sold out of "Unfit for Command"-- this in ultra-liberal Silicon Valley.

One thing I learned-- don't ever try to BS a Vietnam vet. They can sniff BS coming from 1000 yards away. Kerry should already know this, being a Vietnam vet himself. Kerry has no common sense, and the "mainstream" media is starting to become aware of this.

I think while reality is sinking in among the "mainstream" media, the rest of us wait, and somewhere, some group of higher-ups in the Democrat Party are working their rear-ends off on "Plan B."

Maybe the media is providing cover until Plan B is ready for prime time? Otherwise I am starting to suspect that GWB is going to win this one with a walk.

Chris Matthews was actively trying to trip up his guests so he could get a sound bite for the Kerry campaign. There is no other logical explanation for his badgering of his guests and asking them repeatedly about a claim that he, himself, said that nobody was making.

Do you recall that the Kerry staffer brazenly said that the kerry kampaign was not worried about the Swift Vets book & Ads because 'the media wants us to win'?

Well, the media (as apparently promised to the kerry kampaign) is working overtime to discredit the Swiftees & protect kerry.

Thank God for FoxNews & Brit Hume & The Washington Times who are the only ones to report this story in an unbiased manner.

Scarborough had a young guy on from the WashPost who said CBS' poll numbers showed Kerry's numbers plummeting, that Kerry felt he had to do something. The vets ad, he felt, was very damaging, not only among conservatives but among among independents.

Chris Matthews is flacking for Kerry..... he should be ashamed of himself for the way he treated Michelle Malkin. He never read the book...at least she got that out of him.

I called my neighborhood Barnes & Noble about the availability of UNFIT FOR COMMAND. They said they had lots of copies and told me I could find it on the second table as you walk in. There is no conspiracy to keep this book away from buyers.

I don't believe that anyone in UNFIT FOR COMMAND is suggesting that Kerry shot himself on purpose or got wounded himself intentionally. Nevertheless,It was a self inflicted wound, and does not qualify for a purple heart.
