Many people have expressed their opinion that they do not want to put a Bush/Cheney Bumper sticker on their car for fear that degenerate unlawful liberal scum will damage their car.
In many respects this fear is understandable. Liberals are by nature scofflaws and have little respect for life or property.
I have seen thousands of these yellow (and Red, White, & Blue) ribbon magnetic "stickers" that proclaim support for our troops.
I have ask everyone I have seen with one of these if they are supporting Bush. 100% said yes.
My conclusion, hundreds of thousands of people are showing their support for our troops and our President by placing these ribbons on their cars kinda as a duel purpose sticker. Afterall, Kerry doesn't support our troops so Kerry supporters must not either.
Where can I get one?
I feel a few entrepreneurial brainstorms coming on...
I've been feeling guilty about not displaying a BC '04 sticker on my car. I have the same concern. My car is brand new and I worry about some numbskull vandalizing my car. I didn't know anyone else felt this way!
I'm not even bothering putting out a yard sign this year...unfortunately. They get stolen almost immediately when I do.
To each his own and your idea may be great, but personally I'd rather be blunt. We have to have some guts.
Forget the sticker!
Rememebr the VOTE!

While parked in the secure lot of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle in 2000, my Bush bumper-stickered car had nails pounded into the tire five days in a row.
A report is on file with the SPD as of day 3.
LOL, I feel like a maroon for missspelling dual.
I have one placed on the back door of my SUV and a smaller on on the driver's door. I also have an American flag on my back window. I have had people ask me where I got my ribbon stickers and also have people drive by and smile and wave. I see them around and assume the drivers are also pro-Bush. I've never seen a vehicle with a Kerry or anti-Bush sticker that also has a flag. Hubby can't remember the name of the company he bought our from, but you could probably "Google" magnetic sign ribbon troops and come up with a company website.
I believe you run as much risk having your car defaced showing support for the troops as you do putting a Bush/Cheney sticker on your car.
Heck...follow the Sauropod lead and just put stickers all over your car..they won't know what to deface and their brains will just overload and fry!
Since placing my Bush/Cheney stickers, and my "I wish I lived in New York so I could vote against Hillary" sticker on my car, it has been vandalized.
That only strengthened my resolve! I walked right up to the local group selling the magnetic ribbons and bought two.
Of course, my car is a '98 Saturn...which made finding a metal surface on which to place the ribbons, difficult. I finally slapped both on the trunk and drove off with a determined smile on my face!
Mine were stolen also during the last presidential election. I put twice as many out plus loaded up the living room window with pro-America, pro-God,and pro-Gun signs and stickers. Getting my window ready right now as well as the front door to do it all again! I'm also trying to figure a way of making those signs an effort to steal but will happily load up my yard with them if they start disappearing again! :o)
I have a magnetic Bush/Cheney sticker. I visit clients in their homes in heavily Democratic areas and can't afford to lose customers because they hate Bush, so if I have an appointment, I peel the sticker off and slap it back on later.
Maybe those who fear vandalism could just display a cowboy hat. LOL !!!!!
I have the ribbons AND Bush stickers on my car. I have not seen a single person with a ribbon support our troops sticker (and there are thousands around where I live) and a pro-kerry or anti-Bush sticker.
Are you from Pennsylvania?
I visited Scranton, PA last weekend, and they were all over the place.
Therefore, my sign is not easy to get to, let alone steal. But at the same time it is strategically placed for all to see.
