The website says you can volunteer to drive it around... any ambitious Freepers getting any ideas? : ) Hmmm...

Use it to remind America of the Dem's strong leadership: Park it on the bottom at Chappaquidick!

Dang, makes me wish I had a fully loaded LAV-25/Stryker ready to go. B-)

But I guess the V-100/150 "HUACmobile" will do B-):

Mainers, the target identified in this thread will be mobile in your sector from now until 28 August. Could you folks go and put some napalm on this sucker and show him what it's really like to have pants on fire?

This message brought to you by FREEPNORAD's KerryTrack section. If anyone wants on or off this ping list, say so here or by freepmail. Please direct questions to Mr. Silverback or ChadFairbanks.

I have copied the itinerary, and will ping local freepers when it is nearing them. I can tell you if it was coming to my twon I'd be following it around with a bullhorn, or sneaking up on it and taping some Soviet or Viet Cong flags to it.

Washington Freepers, the target mentioned in this thread will be in your sector until the 21st, mainly around Tacoma. Could you folks go and put some napalm on this sucker and show them the real meaning of "pants on fire"? Maybe you could attach some Viet Cong flags to his sweet ride...

Did you notice they're going to Burning Man soon? Taking a bush-bashing truck to Burning Man to win hearts and minds is like taking the John Kerry/Jane Fonda photo to the GOP convention, just to be sure that everybody votes the right way...

Golly. Sure would be ashamed to see someone accidently pour 20 lbs of concrete mix down that poor man's gas tank, now would'nt it?

Not that I am advocating that sort of thing...

The graphics on this post are not loading for me - it just sort of keeps loading but never gets the pics.

Is it possible that the B&J website is on to us linking to their graphics and has locked them up?

These guys have long been whacked out clowns.

Shortly before 9/11/01 one of them was running around with a big, absurd clown collar marked off like a pie chart, supposedly to show what an obscenely large (according to him anyway) part of the national budget was allocated for defense, in stead of more PC priorities like "education" and welfare entitlements.

I think he got rid of that pretty quick about the time the Trade towers fell, though.

But these are just variations of some pretty old, albeit bizzare tricks from the aging B&J ice-cream hasbeens.

I wonder that if they happen to get an overload of volunteers to drive this thing and then they suddenly flaked out at the last minute; would it affect anything?

That or volunteer and blow the motor on the first block. Oops.

I remember that, sort of. It was part of an effort called "move our money," they had a website, and Jerry sang this impromptu little "move our money" theme song at the press conference.

www.moveourmoney.com is no longer available. Guess that whole 9/11 thing screwed them up. ;-)

Congressional Record -- Senate

Thursday, June 19, 1986;
(Legislative day of Monday, June 16, 1986)

99th Cong. 2nd Sess.

132 Cong Rec S 8019

REFERENCE: Vol. 132 No. 84; Continuation of Senate Proceedings of June 18, 1986, Issue No. 83; and Proceedings of June 19, 1986, Issue No. 84.

TITLE: ADDITIONAL STATEMENTS;
NATIONAL ICE CREAM MONTH

SPEAKER: MR. KERRY

TEXT:
Text that appears in UPPER CASE identifies statements or insertions which are not spoken by a Member of the Senate on the floor.

MR. KERRY. MR. PRESIDENT, ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL AND ENJOYABLE AMERICAN PRODUCTS RECEIVES ITS DUE NATIONAL RECOGNITION DURING THE MONTH OF JULY. THAT'S BECAUSE WE GET TO CELEBRATE JULY AS "NATIONAL ICE CREAM MONTH."

AS AN ICE CREAM LOVER MYSELF, I CAN ATTEST TO THE FACT THAT ICE CREAM HAS ACHIEVED A STATUS IN THE AMERICAN CONSUMERS' MINDS UNLIKE THAT OF ALMOST ANY OTHER PRODUCT. MANY PEOPLE CONSIDER IT A REWARD FOOD. OTHERS THINK OF IT AS A TREAT OR A PLEASURABLE INDULGENCE. SOME EVEN THINK THE COOL AND REFRESHING QUALITIES OF ICE CREAM ARE GOOD FOR COPING WITH STRESS AND ANGER.

ITS RICHNESS AND MARVELOUSLY VARIED FLAVORS AND FORMS ARE A TESTAMENT TO AMERICAN INGENUITY. OVER THE PAST 10-15 YEARS, THE ICE CREAM INDUSTRY HAS WITNESSED A REBIRTH IN ITS INNOVATIVENESS AS IT SEEKS TO MEET THE DEMAND FOR QUALITY PRODUCTS THAT AMERICAN CONSUMERS HAVE COME TO EXPECT. THIS IS ONE INDUSTRY THAT'S NOT ENDANGERED BY FOREIGN COMPETITION.

I AM PROUD TO POINT OUT THAT MASSACHUSETTS AND THE REST OF THE NEW ENGLAND AREA HAVE THE SINGULAR DISTINCTION OF BEING THE HIGHEST PER CAPITA PRODUCTION AREA OF ICE CREAM PRODUCTS IN THE COUNTRY. IN 1984, THAT FIGURE WAS 23 QUARTS PER CAPITA. COMPARE THAT TO THE NATIONAL PER CAPITA PRODUCTION FIGURE OF 15 QUARTS AND YOU CAN SEE WHICH AREA OF THE COUNTRY IS HELPING PROVIDE A LOT OF ICE CREAM FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. MY HOME STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS RANKS SIXTH IN THE NATION IN ICE CREAM PRODUCTION. MASSACHUSETTS ICE CREAM MANUFACTURERS PRODUCED NEARLY 47 MILLION GALLONS OF ICE CREAM IN 1984.

WE SALUTE THE ICE CREAM MANUFACTURERS IN THE UNITED STATES FOR THE DELICIOUS PRODUCTS THEY PRODUCE AND ALL OF US GET TO ENJOY.
