I went to the Veterans for Victory page (see above).

I tried to go to Veterans-Against-Kerry.com and couldn't access the page. I'm wondering if that wasn't one of the original sites being sued by Kerry's friends (George Butler, et al) when the Veteran Anti-Kerry sites first started popping up.

The website registration info seemed legit to me. Most of the scammers have bogus phone numbers and end up with contact points in the Bahamas or Isle of Man or something. This site cross references to what appears to be a legitimate business (exoticmeats.com). If anyone is in the market for Venison or wild game, this looks like the place! lol.

What I noticed was this:

I don't recall any MASH units...that being a Korean War thing. They had Evac Hospitals and smaller outposts, but I think MASH unit had changed after Korea. I was a patient in the 93rd Evac in Long Binh.

There weren't any paramedics. There were medics, nurses, corpsmen and doctors.

He identifies himself as civilian Don Lester, no mention of his former rank or MOS/Rate.

He wants my money.

Yep, I was looking for medical reasons for the short tour but he doesn't mention anything about it. I think it's a little strange. I hope someone has the scoop on him or thisoutfit.

Good Idea.
On the website registration, that is the number listed as a fax machine.
Here is the phone # listed: 206-546-4922 (McCurdy)

You may be right about a typo which should have read 1967. That would cover Tet in early 1968.

Come on man, you DO KNOW that John Kerry served in Viet Nam?

I know that may be news but I heard rumors.

:o)

Also the Press loved to use, during TET the phrase:

American Forces DECIMATED.....

It sounds like a nasty little word but it means 10%, American forces had 10% casualties overall, the NV had upwards of 60+% and we know now with KGB files and defectors that if MacNemerra and Johnson would have let the Military do its JOB and go on the offensive we would have been done in 6 months.

"Without soldiers there would be no freedom to criticise those same soldiers."

Kerry was just here in Cincinnati today speaking to the VFW and the media DID NOT air the fact that there was a WALKOUT.

One guy stood up and said, "If no one else will say it I will, Kerry is a LIAR," and out they went. They were Nam Vets. It was reported by 700WLW radio but no where else.

Yet there was NO walkout when Bush was there.

By the way Thanks for YOUR service.

My guess is that he saw veterans for truth get 2 million in donations and wanted a piece of that.

This is a fraud because, 1) the address is in Washington DC and 2) there is no phone number on the website or on the letter.

and yes I got a letter too, and no way in hell am I donating money.
