Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- Workers and office employees of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are enjoying summer holidays at rest homes together with their families. Nearly twenty reconstructed rest homes in Sokam, Lake Sohung, Onpho, Kuam and other scenic spots have received holiday-makers.

The holiday-makers at the Onpho Rest Home in Kyongsong County, North Hamgyong Province, and the Majon Rest Home in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province, are playing various kinds of sports games and amusements and swimming and boating in the sea.

The Kuam Rest Home in Hwayang-ri, Chongdan County, South Hwanghae Province, has also opened the door for many holiday-makers from across the country.

Workers of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex and their families are spending their holidays at the Sohungho Rest Home with angling and boating in Lake Sohung.

The Recreation Management Department of the Ministry of Labor has provided the holiday-makers with all material and cultural conditions needed for their recreation in the April-October holiday period for workers and office employees.

Sure....they're out barbequeing stray dogs on gathered sticks. It's a ball in NK during these salad days....or is that grass and bark they eat?

Grass soup is a popular dish in the NK. My left little grilled finger with fried big toe is also popular. Both served with urine sauce.

Scenic vistas to enjoy with friends and family....late nights around the campfires......dog roasting on nearby spit......mmmmmmm....all praise the Great Leader.

BTW, has jimmy carter shown up yet? I just love that toothy grin...chihuahua juice dripping off his chin....bragging to his commie buddies how he save the reds in Venezuala, and how he will do the same for the Great Leader's nukes once again if things go well in November.

"The Ministry of Enjoy Yourself or Die announces that the Strength Through Joy camps are a big hit with the fit and trim people. A ministry spokesman said that the glorious workers are slim as opposed to the corpulent oppressors of the West. Also, the spokesman stated that the mandatory attendance ensures that everyone has a joyous time."

The government provides you with everything you NEED to have fun. Liberals are salivating over this.
