Louie's servin' breakfast. What a guy!
We've been getting lots of pictures from Colorado lately. Our nephew is stationed at Ft. Carson.
The mention of Colorado, brings to mind the beautiful background scenery in "Paint Your Wagon."
Thanks for the travelogue, MB.

If you come for a visit, make sure to make it a trip in the late summer. Our Mountains and prairies are best enjoyed with the top down, cruising the highways, or better yet, on the back of a mountain bike.Have heard that summer is the best time to see Colorado and we actually did try to go out there last August. I have a problem with dry eyes and it was very hot the whole trip so we had to travel with the A/C blower fans on full force. Turned around in Kansas City where it was 104, with the trip becoming too miserable to continue. Guess we should fly out there but I had always wanted to have that view of the Rockies from a distance where you're driving towards them.
Would spring or fall be a good time to go, I just can't travel in the hot summer anymore. I've heard that spring is the rainy season in CO.

Thanks for the travelogue, MB. Thanks for travelin' along, DD. :-)
I don't remember seeing "Paint Your Wagon". I will put it on my "movies to rent" list. Sounds like a good rainy day movie.

Toss those Cheerios! : ) You betcha! I'll take the eggs and sausage anytime.
It's pretty slow around here. I think I will go out and get a few things done in the garden. BBL.

Hi Pippin! Thanks for pinging me to the salute to Colorado! I'M HOMESICK!!!!
Here is some info on Colorado. There is a place close to Aspen - Marble, CO. It is a ghost town now, but that is where the marble was quarried for the Lincoln Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Below is a picture of the mill at Crystal, CO.
