[history]
It is not only John Kerry who puts out false information. On Kerry's website was info that was hurredly removed that claimed the candidate was the Vice Chair of the Intelligence Committee. Whoops. That was actually Bob Kerrey. In fact, John attended very few of the very important public or private meetings.
Now comes a snafu that has the Bush campaign reeling. It could seriously damage the credibility of the President.
Like Kerry, apparently the president has had trouble with the truth. Just removed from his website were claims that Bush has 4 Winston Cup victories, was runner-up in 2001 for Winston Cup rookie of the year, won the pole position for the 2001 Southern 500 at Darlington, won four Craftsman Truck races, and was the 1999 Featherlite Southwest Tour chamption.
George Bush has, in fact, done none of those things. It is a total fabrication, and he and his campaign should be ashamed of themselves for the blatant lies.
It turns out that the person with the driving resume is actually Kurt Busch. It sounds the same, but it is not spelled the same.
How could something like this happen to make the entire Bush/Cheney effort look so amateurish?

Another lie on the Bush/Cheney '04 website:
"Dick Cheney made his debut at the movies in 1912 and his filmography is vast. Dick Cheney was especially famous for his horror parts in movies like e.g. Quasimodo in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923)". Due to his special make-up effects he carried the characterization to be "the man with the thousand faces". He only filmed one movie with sound: The remake of one of his earlier films "The Unholy Three (1930)".
It turns out the person with this resume is Lon Chaney, a similar sounding name with different spelling.

LOL! Why even worry? Those claims do not involve natioanl security, nor do they slander Vietnam Vets, nor do they promote a socialists agenda, nor were they intended to mislead voters - as sKerrys claims obviously were!

Very well done! I also just discovered that Condoleezza Rice does hold all the receiving records for the 49ers.

Okay, someone has to do it. We need side by side pictures of George and Kurt; Dick and Lon; Condoleezza and Jerry.

I have it on good authority that Dubya drove his stock car into Cambodia back in '68 (or was it '69?).

COLIN POWELL: In 1869 Major Colin Powell's expedition through the white water of the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon caused a sensation. Powell was not the first to navigate the river, but his writings stirred the interest of adventurers around America.
This was actually John Wesley Powell
