This action destroyed the morale of the POW's who were tortured with film footage of his and hanoi jane's speeches. It provied aid and comfort to the enemy.
He lied under oath to congress about war crimes that never happened, smearing the rest of his Band of Brothers as baby killers and rapist. He failed to report the plan to assassinate several sitting US Congressmen to the proper authorities.
He met in Paris with the enemy.
He has a 20 year history of failing to support the military. He voted against most of the modern weapons systems in use today, he voted against military pay raises, he voted against Veterans health care.
Last of all but not least is his NO vote to fund our Troops in Iraq, the $87 Billion which funded kevlar vest and armor for their humvees. Included in that $87 Billion was $1.3 Billion in Veterans health care and relief from concurrent receipt situation. The Vet health care item was in the Washington Times article about the 21 medal of honor winners supporting Dubya.
He also skipped voting to fund the latest defense budget which provided more money for our Troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, because he and edwards were to busy campaigning.
For the past 20 years he has a history of 351 tax hike votes including Clinton's tax on Social Security income. His latest tax hike vote was on 3/10/04 for $1.8 Billion. And his 20 years of gutting the 2nd amendment. And a 20 year history of voting against the Unborn.
Now he thinks he can fool us into thinking he's a moderate who is strong on defense with the phony act he's been putting on.

Kerry then quietly killed the Viet Nam Human Rights Act, linking non-humanitarian aid to Hanoi to progress on human rights issues, in the Senate Subcommittee on East Asian and Pacific Affairs, which he ALSO happened to chair, by immediately blocking a senate floor vote on it. He forced noramlized trade relations with Hanoi through without that commonsense check on the balance of power in Vietnam and won some really fat contracts for some of his close relatives in the process.
The man has a PATTERN of treasonous behaviour that spans DECADES and continues to this day. WHY will nobody ever listen??
