Compelling circumstantial evidence to be sure, him driving to the bay like that just to look out over the water. I just wish the prosecution had something alot more solid, like blood evidence in his truck or boat. Something incontrovertable that Geragos couldn't explain away. These tapes have done nothing for the prosecution but show Peterson is a coldhearted, lying, cheating, SOB. Does that make him capable of murder? Probably, but the jury is going to have to decide, not me.
Since I got spanked on not knowing the facts of the case this afternoon, I have been doing some catchup reading on it. Many legal eagles aren't sure the prosecution has gotten the job done. This thing looks like it is going to hinge on one or two points at most, IMHO. There is a decent chance that Peterson will walk on this. That would be bad.
How about a quote from Scott as that one-line zinger? "Like anchors for people" comes to mind.

I see that many of the Freepers here and on WebSleuths are definitely tuned in and most knowledgable on this matter(and the fact that the tabloids and the MSM latch on to the most inane things and totally miss the important testimony). But as learned as many here are, it all boils down to whether the jury buys Geragos' spin. That is what I am most concerned about. Is the prosecution sealing the deal?

you know, thank goodness I have never ran into him here in Modesto. I can't stand his facial expressions he does, and there is just something about him that stinks!
Don't say what's on your mind Scott lol....IMO he anchored the body just like he said in hopes the body would float to the surface and he would collect the life insurance...and those trips out to the bay ? he was looking to see if the body was floating.
