BUSH visits Cincinnati,Aug.16

August 16, 2004 Monday morning I took my Pro-Bush/Pro Troops signs to the Cincinnati Convention Center to counter the sKerry goons that I assumed would be there. THEY WERE there. First I was the only one on the side I was on, which turned out to be the WRONG entrance point. President Bush entered from a different entrance on the other side of the complex, so he didn't see my signs. But hundred of other pedestrians and VFW'ers did. Later another dude came by and asked if I need any help holding my signs, so I gladly went to my stock and pulled one out for him. Pics following
This is me and my one of my signs.timestax

Maybe someone saw your sign that wouldn't have if you were at the other door and it will make them think! Good for you!

This in another sign I put together of pics I gleaned from FreeRepublic.
One sKerry goon yelled at me for "hiding behind your sunglasses" ha, it was a sunny day. They are so uncouth.

Metro Cincinnati has been the most consistently GOP area in the US bar none. The place is in a time warp. Granted it "helped" in times past that a considerable percentage of its working class came from the part of the Kentucky mountains that were pro union, and have been hyper GOP ever since. Before that, the Germans carried it for the GOP in a Copperhead sea, including a fair number of German Jews. Indeed, I suspect the Jewish community in Cincinnati is still the most GOP in the US. It then was largely missed by the CIO union organizing and Eastern European influx. Interesting place, Cincinnati is, from a voting habits standpoint.
