"In three months President Bush will win reelection despite your efforts to undermine his base "

If his base is the Mexican Gov't then it already has been undermined he needs no help from us. Bush has done zero campaigning in CA, he has neglected us. Kerry's friends in the state legislature wants to hand out citizenship to every person on the planet, and force the local tax payers to fund it, where do you stand on the issue, do you and your family live in the south west ?

Now I understand why my caller ID showed Eyewitness News Number when I got home. They didn't leave a message though.

Until Bush gets it right on illegal immigration is can expect and deserves a damn good bashing. This issue might just cost him the election too. I knows tons of people throughly pissed off about illegal immigration and the feds see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil policy.

Think about this, if there is a large attack, and the attackers entered the USA via Mexican/US boarder illegally, Bush will look like a complete and total fool, worse he will be criminally negligent in doing his duty to defend the country.

Here's a good immigration news article you guys would like:

http://www.diario.com.mx/secciones/mexico/nota.asp?notaid=1f3d405f8e6b9be0cb07cb7f65619875

Cruzan frontera más embarazadas

"muchas mujeres embarazadas cruzan de manera ilegal por los desiertos de Sonora, sin importarles las altas temperaturas que se registran durante el día."

------ I don't think any of us has to wonder the reasons that so many pregnant women are coming over the border --- welfare checks and a free ride for the rest of their lives.

And what do you know? Were you around four years ago to see this same gaggle of Buchanan fanatics trashing George W. Bush?

Were you even aware of politics when the Buchanan camp was concentrating its blatantly racist ant-Mexican advertising in Florida and Michigan in an attempt to take votes away from President Bush in those states? Are you aware that Tancredo is a front man for Buchanan? Check Buchanan's site where they announce their creation of Tancredo's new organization to be chaired by Buchanan's sister Bay. Notice the announcement also promotes the presidential candidacy of Michael Peroutka. Then check Tancredo's website which is nonstop Bush bashing.

Are you aware that Tancredo was warned by Tom Delay and thrown out of the White House by Karl Rove with instructions to never return?

You're hanging with a crowd that has as its goal the election of John Kerry.

They've been doing it for years. Two or three years ago, a high ranking Mexican official was indicted for smuggling Arabs into the US! She was a cabinet member, but I can't remember her name or what department she was head of. The Bush administration knows this. They've known this yet did nothing. They're still doing nothing. That shows you how sold out our politicians are to business interests, ie. cheap labor. God help them is more of our citizens die because of their betrayal.

I see that bayourod, Free Republic's resident pro-open borders, pro-illegal immigration cheerleader, is posting his usual tirades against FReepers who dare say anything negative about illegal immigration.

They know. They just won't face reality. They'd prefer to call us names instead of owning up to the fact that the emperor has no clothes. Just ignore them.

What?? Is it Chrissy Matthews again -- bright-eyed and bushy-tailed with McCain's slippers in hand and cup o' coffee?

Just another anti-Bush thread by the Buchanan/Tancredo xenophobes crowd...

Well your post was obviously flame-bait and you got some nibbles, but this issue needs to be addressed.

Bush was not my first choice during the 2000 GOP nomination race [McCain was even lower on my list]. In the end, he was the most electable out of the field at the time, so I supported him. I would rather have drafted Sen. Thompson.

A major reason for this was Dubya's abysmal record with respect to illegal immigration while Texas Gov. He seems to think that he stands to gain more by catering to those who favor unlimited immigration. Those who oppose it are apparently expendable as a voting bloc.

Also expendable is the future of this nation. Those of us who insist that our immigration laws be enforced are not xenophobes.

My mother's maiden name is Maldonado. Mis abuelos came to this country determined to BECOME Americans. They did. They came here legally, learned the friggin' language and worked. My grandfather Miguel was NYPD. Two of my uncles fought in Korea.

This is not a racial thing. People who demonstrate that they are not invested in America's future by doing what my grandparents did should be summarily deported. Otherwise, this country will simply be transformed into another version of the place the Mexicans just left. Bush doesn't seem to understand that. He needs to be shown that he stands to lose by sacrificing America's future in favor of fleeting political gains.

"Bush doesn't seem to understand that. He needs to be shown that he stands to lose by sacrificing America's future in favor of fleeting political gains. "

So your solution is to elect Kerry? That's the typical Buchanan mentality. Fortunately only four tenths of one per cent of the voters think like you.

Your grandparents immigrated here before the labor unions forced Congress to restrict Mexican immigration. You are here because because of an open border policy.

Your anti President Bush feelings are evidenced by your placing the blame on him for illegal immigration when he was a governor, but now that he's President you don't blame the governors, you blame Bush. If Bush were the commissioner of baseball you would still blame him for illegal immigration.

"Your anti President Bush feelings are evidenced by your placing the blame on him for illegal immigration when he was a governor"

Just because I disagree with Bush on a specific policy for specific, well-defined reasons does not make me anti-Bush and you know it. I am not a Buchanan supporter because I disagree with Bush either. I am against third parties. You have ignored the statement that I supported Bush.

My grandparents did not slip over the border and retain their foreign citizenship. They applied to become American citizens and went through the process, including learning to speak English and American history. There is simply no comparison. My grandparents despised the illegals who were coming over in their day for the very same reason I do today.

I have reviewed your posts in other threads. You drone on and on about this Buchanan/Tancredo conspiracy whenever anyone criticizes illegal immigration. Yet you offer no solution nor is there any intelligible reaction to the very real demographic problem this country faces.

I will inded vote for Bush as before. But I will still criticize him when he messes up. Name-calling and selective reading of other peoples posts says more about your mindset.
