There are rocks in my yard smarter than Juan Williams
Fox News Discussion Panel

I just needed to say that. That dude is seriously impaired. We need to take up a collection and pay his fair on the little yellow bus.
He thinks Allawi can trust John Kerry to defend Iraq. I need a nap.

is it possible, given that Mr. Williams *knows* the POV of network, the others on the panel and the audience of Fox, that he's simply fulfilling his role? Some things in the realm of possibility are so unlikely, that the only reasonable answer becomes "no."
Juan drinks the cool aid. He honestly believes most of what he asserts -- he verbally fights for it, and looks sad when his argument proves lacking.

I just spoke with my mulch, and they would like to join your rocks to a battle of wits against Williams and Alterman. Can someone set this up?

Not if your rocks aren't "of color!" Juan is an affirmative action guy. If he were white, he'd be passing out towels in the men's room. Because he isn't, he goes on the books under the column for tokens.

We also thoroughly enjoy Brit's facial expressions when Juan pops his cork. Last week Juan was just going beserk about the Swiftboat Vets and made some outlandish comment (can't remember exactly what it was), but Brit looked at him in such a funny way and said, "Now, Juan, you know we are not doing that." It was like he was speaking to a two-year old.

Juan: "There's nothing to see here. Keep moving. Let's just
MoveOn."
I just heard Chrissy on Lardball actually say that "Everybody in the world knew Iraq had WMD's." He used the statement to belittle a lefty associated with the protest groups organizing against the GOP convention.

CC is a hack, but Juan Williams is just plain nuts.
On a recent edition of Special Report when Fred Barnes was absent, Juan Williams made one of his usual off-the-wall statements in which he had his facts all wrong.
Not even Mort Kondracke could take it and interrupted to correct Juan.
Juan's response was essentially, "I don't care what the facts are, I like my version better."

I just heard Chrissy on Lardball actually say that "Everybody in the world knew Iraq had WMD's. I heard that too and was utterly confused!
Is the word out in Washington that WMD are going to be found before Election Day causing all of these one-time naysayers to suddenly change their tune???

If that is the descriptive term Juan chose, where does he fit in the Fox News mix?

As if Juan couldn't be labeled with that slur. Sometimes Juan Williams comes so close to being smart about a particular situation that I think there is hope for him. Then he slips back into his job classification of liberal pundit and I grieve . But not a lot. I accept that Juan is paid to be a liberal pundit and probably reigns himself in when his common sense gets the better of him on some right leaning issues. He is a likable guy but Lordy he can be so irritating.

I nearly died laughing when Alan Colmes warned that all of these Swift Boat Vets may cause the media to delve into Bush's record of service - like the media didn't spend the first half of the year on that subject!
