You mean turn the tables on him?
"On behalf of Swiftvets For Truth, we're writing to ask that the Senate Armed Services Committee immediately convene public hearings to examine the testimony presented by these veterans." May I go on?"

..."I find out later on, these acts are contrary to the Hague and Geneva Conventions and to the laws of warfare."
Mr. Kerry was commissioned during a time of war, and made it all the way to the battlefield without having a knowlege of Hague, and Geneva Conventions?
What a load of crap. C'mon...how many of you former and current military folks remember getting the LOAC briefing drilled into you?

Let me answer your question as why hundreds of distinguished war heros can not ask to do what one scum rat leftist John Kerry did. Because the republican party are total cowards who will let the leftists run war heros into the ground rather than confront a political party that has called the president a "deserter" and "AWOL" The democrats are corrupt, vicious and radical leftists, and the republicans are afraid and I often think, clueless, on calling them out for it.

Something is being done. One thing the Framers of our COnstitution had the sense to do was to set this system up in such a way that it moves s l o w l y.
This is a good thing.
There are bigger issues concerning Kerry that the Swift Boat charges. Clearly what Kerry did in Vietnam is important, but it is only a smoke screen IMHO.
I think the real issue is what he did and "who" his shipmates were from about 1970 - 1971. The time period he was in the VVAW.
He associated with some very interesting people.

Suggestion: Do the proper multilateral-thing and submit a copy of the above transcript to Kerry's friends at the U.N. and request they initiate U.N. tribunal for said mentioned war crimes.

The "swiftees" are under oath. They have signed Avidavits, swearing under penlty of perjury that what they are saying is the truth.

He he!
Can you imagine, some months ago, the ex-Clinton people working for Kerry saying "Oh, you need to push the Vietnam service! You must!"
Kerry is a fool! In bringing up Vietnam he's picked open a huge scab that's been on top of a huge wound for 30 years. And it's a wound HE CREATED! The way Vietnam Vets were treated after they came home was Kerry's fault!
In a way I'm glad that Kerry brought up Vietnam. Way too many people think that the people that served this country in Vietnam did the things Kerry lied about.
Kerry has orchestrated the path to his own self destruction. He has given all those vets the chance to clear their names. And has given us a way to help them. And the result of that is that Kerry goes down. It's just a matter of how hard.
In the forseeable future Kerry will not be president, will not be a Senator and will not be married to TereSa. The sweet taste of the tears he crys after he crashes and burns will not be enough to pay for what he did to so many so long ago!

I want to see Kerry pay for his war crimes also. He is a traitor.

Can anyone explain why Vietnam Veterans for a Just Peace (Kessler/O'Neill's Group) was not allowed to testify before the Senate Committee at which Kerry made his allegations in 1971?

This way the Swifites would be under oath and the whole country could see the testimony. The Swifties have already been placed under oath -- they made their statements in sworn affidavits. As far as the whole country seeing it, the book is selling like wildfire so the word is getting out.
The Republican party isn't getting involved in this in any way at all. To me, that's the best way to go. This is strictly between the Swifties and kerry.

I think we are getting lost in the fog that is John Kerry. I seriously doubt that Kerry committed any actionable "atrocities" in his 4 months. It is all part of the anti American lies he was and is still willing to tell in order to undermine this country and advance a foolish left wing agenda.
First he spouted irresponsible nonsense about cutting off heads, etc. Then he says well, he never saw any of that, but he engaged in standard U.S. military tactics, which violate international law. I am unaware of any finding that U.S. tactics in Vietnam violated international covenants and Kerry was once again smearing his own country at war.
