NEW DELHI: A string of bomb blasts in Assam, a grenade attack and a militant-sponsored shutdown in Jammu and Kashmir marred Independence Day celebrations on Sunday.
At least 13 people, including six children, were killed and 21 injured when a powerful bomb ripped through a college ground in Assam's Dhemaji town, bordering Arunachal Pradesh.
The explosive, that blew up at around 9.45 am soon after the national flag was unfurled, was planted at the entrance of the ground.
A witness said that most of the bodies of the children were burnt beyond recognition. The dead included seven women who had come to watch the children participate in the march-past.
"The bomb exploded under the feet of the children. There is blood and human flesh all over the ground," said school teacher Jiban Saikia

allah is pleased. No, I don't believe so. I don't know if He is capable of human emotions--I suppose He is if he wants to be--but He is not pleased.

"Admitting there had "certainly been a security lapse," Gogoi immediately ordered suspension of the district superintendent of police, T Thengniew, and Additional SP, A Sufian." Ya THINK?
I wonder how much longer until this stuff happens here in the US. Where's my gun? Oh Yeah, Senators Feinstein and Boxer took it from me.

It actually doesn't matter if you accept the Islamic definition of Allah or the reality (just another name for Satan); "Allah" is pleased with the deaths of non-Muslims.

I wish God extracted more immediate vengence on these terrorist vermin. The wrath of man takes too long and justice doesn't always prevail. This event happened far away from us but it still cuts me to the bone. I think we have to mentally put ourselves there to avoid becoming detached and thinking this as just "bad news".
Even with the US intelligence failures, we at least have the resources to stop some of these attacks. Other countries are less fortunate. And terrorists prey most upon those that can't defend themselves. If Allah is pleased, than Allah is satan.
To: RightWhale
I think you are mistaking "Allah" for God. Don't be fooled - the Muslims do not worship the God of Abraham, they worship a pagan moon god who was worshipped under that name before Mohammad walked the earth.

Yeah, I have His Book right here, and I don't mean that heretical work of poetry of recent compilation. It says so--the Big Guy can be moody and He is not pleased right now.
