Well, they're relevant to the extent that they call Bush's record in the National Guard into question, but they're irrelevent to the extent that they could possibly show that Kerry has lied about who served with him, how his wounds were inflicted, or whether he committed war crimes. There, the mainstream media answer for you.

Military records are only relevant if the candidate makes them relevant, or misstates his military service for the purpose of deceiving others.

Totally irrelevant if you are Bush 41 running against Clinton or Dole against Clinton. Highly relevant if you are Kerry, though.
