Albert Wang has, in the face of polls predicting otherwise, boldly stated that November will be a 45 state Bush blowout.

Bush Landslide

Period!

The only chance of another outcome would be complacency of Bush supporters to the point of not going to the polls.

If Prof. Fair's model proves to be anywhere near an accurate predictor of the November result, it will be a hard nail in the coffin of the professional pollsters - whose trade is already shaky since (1) people don't answer their phones, and (2) don't give valid answers.

As a professor of economics at Yale, you are known for creating an econometric equation that has predicted presidential elections with relative accuracy.

How did he do in 2000?

A whereasandsoforth prediction: President Bush is going to win 46 states. He will win the popular vote by 4 points. All the gagging about Florida will be a wash because President Bush will win the state beyond any margin of error. He will win Ohio, too, without a challenge.

The democrats are gearing up for a fight that will not happen. This country is basically decent and good. The voting public knows what is going on. The democrats are dead. They have lied and deceived themselves right out of significance.

Put the dead pet 'Rat in a shoebox and bury it in the back yard. They will have to move on to another country now to further their dishonest and ridiclous fairytales. Canada? Cuba? Have at them, you toads! They too will someday stand up to your stupid nothingness. How about Anartica?

I'm sick of playing nice. President Bush will continue and after him, another conservative will be in the White House. And the Congress will only get more conservative.

I base all this on the FACT that the democrats LIE LIE and LIE again. The public is tried of it. It SMELLS!

I think he's more or less right, but for the wrong reasons. The WoT will trump economics this cycle.

This is hilarious. The NY Times Reporter sounds SOOOOOO disappointed in the election prediction. It is like she is saying, "But...but how can this be so?" Then she switches gears and pushes Ray C. Fair as to whether he is a Bush supporter just trying to help Bush with his prediction. It turns out that he is a Kerry supporter. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

KEEP IN MIND THAT THE POLLS ARE NOT GENERALLY POLLING MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY

The entire staff of the New York Times has threatened to drink cyanide-laced Koolade if Bush wins.

As I have told my wife and others for a long time, President Bush will win in a landslide. Then he will redo the income tax or try to and then the leftists will get hold of congress for a little while, the Senate and then Rudi Giuliani will be the next President of the USA.

NYT headlines I'd love to see:

Economy Continues to Grow Strongly; Lamestream Media Frets

Is 4.8% growth bad? Polls show Bush not getting credit he deserves on economy

Productivity surges ahead for 4th straight year

Despite July numbers, 1.5 million jobs created in past year, since 2003 tax cuts

It saddens me that you teach this to students at Yale, who could be thinking about society in complex and meaningful ways.

A reporter actually said this?!!!

This isn't an interview; it's an editorial. Implicitly, she wants social issues to be "important" in the equation. The data don't support her liberal world-view, so she is "saddened" that he is teaching this fact to his students.

It is vitally important, for the wellbeing of this country, that this be true. First of all, it will shut the euros up! Second, it will bring the dems to their senses. They have gone so far out into left field that it is not healthy for this country. Someone needs to put a sock in the mouths of those who are damaging the country and the only ones who can do that is the democrats themselves.
