I'm looking for the preelection release of the movie "Apocalypse Redux" staring Kerry, Martin Sheen, Charlie Sheen, the late Marlon Brando, Jane Fonda, and the Vets for Kerry. Co produced by Michael Moore and Steven Spielberg. America has not seen such a production since the Clinton presidency.

perhaps he smashes up lamps from his guilt about his lying, his betrayal of his band of brothers, the lack of accomplishment in his career, the failure of his first marriage, the unborn babies aborted in contradiction to his Catholicism - could these possibly be weighing on his conscience?Nah. He's a Dork and can't control his body.

Maybe his conscientious is bothering him.

That's probably another lie to try to make sound as if he was "really in the shi+" over there, and now suffers with a tortured, traumatized soul for his service to our country.

More to the point, on the swift vets' first major allegation -- Christmas in Cambodia -- the Kerry campaign has caved.
...but not before the denial came that Kerry had "never said" he was "in" Cambodia, only that he was "near" it, and that too was a lie. Here's the link to the Kerry Waffles list: The Kerry Spot on National Review Online

As I said to you last night on the phone, there's something unseemly about a man Kerry's age (one month older than I) constantly having to prove his machismo by biking, skateboarding, sking, sailboarding, etc.
If a guy wants to trot around the block a couple of times ala W, that's fine with me, but this constant "Look at what a man I am" $h!t gives me pause to think that there's something else going on here.

Where are the people of New Jersey???????????????
I would be OUTRAGED if if lived there!
That this govenor so mocked the need for the genuine security of the peoples of his state ( especially as it relates to terrorism ), that he put a homosexual lover with no experience to head the Homeland Security there while turning down Louis Freeh for the post, SAYS IT ALL!
This man should not be allowed to stay in office ANOTHER MINUTE!
I don't know where the people of New Jersy are, but I know I would be IN THE STREETS making noise about getting this man who put MY SECURITY AT RISK out of there PRONTO!

There is something unseemly about the use of BOTOX, about fingernails that shame most women, about flying a hairdresser around the nation to take care of his thatch of hair, about faking eating at Wendy's in order to fool people while eating gourmet food moments later on his bus.
This little girlie man can skateboard, snowboard, ride the fanciest of bikes, jump from airplanes, do whatever it takes to attempt to prove his manhood.
Men who aren't manly, constantly have to live in a psuedo 'sports' world, which includes the latest and greatest equipment, the fanciest sportswear and just the right environment for a photo-op. It's just another case of 'posing'
Give this metro-sexual coward ( referring to swift boat running when the going got tough) a chainsaw and let's see how long he can clear brush.

... could these possibly be weighing on his conscience? And you assume he has a conscience? What evidence is there for your assumption?
To: Welsh Rabbit
gosh, that occurred to me too - that he is such a poseur - posing himself for HIS OWN movie camera in Vietnam, totally rewriting his service to read like "Apocalypse Now" where he is the hero, making up a script smearing all Vietnam vets when he returned to catapult him to national prominence to use as a platform for a political career when he returned, using his supposed Cambodian secret missions to blast Nixon, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera (the list is too long and depressing to enumerate). so smashing up furniture to make him look like a tortured vet may not be beyond his opportunistic thinking.

imagine if... and a majority of the Halliburton board and 80 percent of the stockholders declared (Dick Cheney) was unfit for officeIt's even worse than that. We aren't talking about a "business" situation here.
Kerry was in close combat and intimate living conditions with these men. You get to know each other pretty quickly and thoroughly under these conditions. Kerry miserably failed the test. Miserably!
He was a self-serving opportunist who nobody seemed to like or really trust. Not only that, but the commanders essentially threw him out of both units with which he served. The active opposition by the vast majority of the men in his unit and his commanders is a much more damning indictment than can be imagined by somebody who has never served under such conditions, coming from people with whom he served shoulder to shoulder in combat. If it were me and I were Kerry, I would be humiliated to tears!
