This makes me seek and shows how thedems think. What kind of sick SOB wrings thier hands in joy at the thought of a natural disaster killing people and taking kives. If president gets any "good polling" from this, Rest assured it is because he consistantly does the right thing and really wants to help people, not because he is scheeming. How much you want bet the Kerry will rush down there to critisize, then akind of approve, then critsize again, then kind of approave again?
I think I typed the URL in correctly but if not just go to yahoo news or AP and check it out

Welcome to FR. You're right, as far as the Left (and friends in the media), the president can't do anything right.
Imagine what they'd be saying if he waited another 12 hours before declaring this relief availability?

Turn about's fair play. I remember Clinton and his FEMA FOB James Lee Witt flying into and over disaster areas. I always thought the bastard was trying to capitalize on human tragedy. Remember how he "felt our pain"? Bush will never top Clinton in this regard, no matter what this APasshole tries to sell. Read for yourself:http://www.fff.org/freedom/0197f.asp
"Clinton's Biggest Disaster Fraud
by James Bovard, January 1997
President Clinton proclaimed in campaign ads last fall that "my job as American president is to take care of the American people." Fewer events present more opportunities for the flaunting of compassion and buying votes than do natural disasters. As a result, under Clinton, the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) has become far more high-profile and generous than ever before...."

Bush should ask the house and senate to vote for or against several billion dollars for emergency help for Florida. Would the democrats vote against it. I think not. Bush is right. The AP can go FT.

The Democrats and the mainstream media are frantic. John Kerry is imploding, and the Democrats and their lackeys will do or say anything to make GW Bush look bad! Just remember, Michael Moore, George Soros, Ben Affleck, Harvey Weinstein, Richard Clarke, Joe Wilson, etc. and millions of both hard and soft money have done nothing for Kerry but keep him in a tie, with a President that has really just begun his serious campaign. The Swift Boat Vets and their one hundred thousand dollar ad have begun the major destruction of John Kerry!

Ok all my typos aside (i wish they would have spellcheck) for when you post articles) the Libs really are sick. Rush as I recall pointed out the Libs implied the same stuff after 911 "oh if only Clinton had this opportunity..."
To: Conservative_boy_in_Bangkok
Rush was right, again. He predicted this very reaction from the media regarding hurricane Charley on Thursday's show.

I am actually amazed that today's headlined didn't shout ...
BUSH ORDERS HURRICANE CHARLEY INTO SOUTH FLORIDA TO TAKE POLITICAL ADVANTAGE OF KERRY!
Oh ... well ... There's always tomorrow

I think the AP could garner untold respect if they would donate a few million dollars for aid to Florida. So far I have not seen any other country in the world say they are sending help. Bush is the only one.
How about it AP cough up or shut up. You like to criticize, now you can help.

The President is not going there for photos ops. He would never do something THAT cheesy. But you can be he'll open the federal treasury to help out the folks in Florida. They'll repay him with gratitude in November.

If Bush didn't respond to this with dispatch, he'd be accused of not caring. If he does respond, he's a political opportunist. We can only hope the voter who half pays attention finally figures out what lowlifes these liberals are.

What I find stunning in this article is the premisse that if President Bush sends aid to the hurricane victims, it's only for political reasons.
Of course, we all know the criticism we'd hear if for some reason, he didn't. Luckily for Floridians, President Bush is a compassionate man who won't care if people make those claims--he'd help them in any event.

Well sick or not it took CNN 12 hours to start wondering on air about why it's taking so long. GET PREPARED FOR MORE OF THIS OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. Kerry will tour the rubble soon, count on it. CNN's news babe-ette was talking about finding bodies. Never mind that most places are under water still, houses are totally collapsed. Reason means nothing at CNN. Power, water and phones are out for large segments of the population. You can draw a line from the landfall of CHARLEY all the way up to Orland 100 miles wide to see where the potential for death and destruction lies.
What does CNN think you can do? Magically sift through the rubble of flattened houses for bodies? Since the magic doesn't exist, they have to go through each site piece by piece to find people who may be still trapped or remove any remains of the less fortunate. Lots of areas are still not passable by emergency vehicles, so aerial survey and help is about the only way ... for now.
Reason isn't going to work with the partisan media. Get used to it. Jeb just held a news conference from Punta Gorda and I can assure you the media will portray the worst they can find when it comes to Jeb and W. Count on it.
Now is the time for Bush to step up and take charge. He needs to say for real HELP IS ON THE WAY, and deliver. What is needed is food, water and shelter.
It looks like Jeb has staged plenty of manpower and supplies, but he has got to deliver as well. Else the Dims will hammer them both.
Words fail when dealing with Dims and the partisan media, but they are what they are, and defeating Bush is all they have in mind.

CNN has taken its marching orders from AP and is parroting the "Bush is evil and politically motivated for helping the state so soon"
