perhaps i could find some illumination why voicing other than strict fr dogma gets one insulted

Dude (dudet?) while I am reluctant to speak for others, I think you are mistaking genuine curiosity about your tag line, for an insult. I think it was more of a compliment.

Or maybe I am misunderstanding your replay

He has pointed out before that he is not a Republican.

And I think, but don't hold me to this totally but I think he said he voted for Bore in 2000.

Yikes! I'm afraid Fred just provided the enemy with a target body count and date for fullfilling the quota. That is not good. The Left is counting American dead like coupe and the enemy is willing to give bodies to their collection. Not a good observation.

Let's be clear. Fred said it. But, the Left has established the quota. They are 'rooting' for more.

He won't be!!! It will be Hiterly ...

Much easier for the DNC to have Kerry announce a medical problem, or resign from contention because he views himself as a liability to the party (ala Toricelli) and just slip Edwards into the top slot. Edwards has been "through the convention process," and will have his name on the ballot.

I know President Bush released "all his military records" during the brouhaha in the spring.

Can anyone here tell me whether the president signed a "release authorization form"? Or did he simply put out copies? This is for a comparison I'm doing between media treatment of Bush and Kerry's records.

Bush signed the release, yes.

Another post (2nd in the hour) - this time from FNC - that Rassman's change in story is starting to turn heads: here

ONeill just said he hasn't voted Republican for President since 1988.

That means he voted for military loathing draft dodging Clinton TWICE and then Gore

Really Really sad

He voted for Perot. Twice

I've heard that GWB signed the Form 180. Haven't found corroboration, and expect the campaign would (wisely) not welcome the question, in the open.

Why wouldn't they welcome it?

It draws a pretty clear contrast: GWB signed his 180; kerry refuses to.

"This story is starting to get more than legs, it is starting to take on a life of its own."

We must pass on the information , facts & donate to the SWVfT until it hurts.

I have been sending my sister info, but thought she was chucking it under W. Today an email, saying her & brother-in-law had donated to the SBVfT & will do so again. That they now could never vote for Kerry.

Unfortunately he is right. I keep pointing out that Lyndon Johnson's Silver Star was far, far, far more fraudulent than Kerry's and no one cared. They just didn't want to believe. The book A Texan Looks at Lyndon was widely circulated and exposed Johnson as worse than Kerry but people just shrugged. People will vote for a liar and a crook and worse.

This story has potential but it could still break either way. You can't hang a campaign on it.

Not the route the Clintoon wing will allow at that point. They will use whatever (FBI files) to purge the ticket so as to start clean and have who they want.

This is a struggle within the Taxocratic party, it will show that the Teddy wing is finished.

Carvile ,and Lanny are out to destroy sKerry with their railings.

I have seen this for months and even called the RNC several months ago.

Only in as much as phxaz original insults were directed at you. But, in no other way were my comments meant for you, Bob.

I will say, that I think the 'Troll' label was a bit premature on your part. I suspect your are mistaken. phxaz is no Troll. Perhaps just an inconsiderate, condescending, overconfident... if not unperceptive... cherry contributor to FR, that has a lot to learn about etiquette and demeanor here. But, I doubt he is a Troll.

We'll keep giving him rope...

...until the time comes to 'yank' it.

Clear things up, any? ...??

7 minutes = w gathering thoughts. 37 minutes = kerry unable to think. both durations in reference to aftermath of second tower being struck on 9-11-01

Good, thanks for answering.

perhaps i could find some illumination why voicing other than strict fr dogma gets one insulted.

Newcomers often come under suspicion, rightly or wrongly. We do get lots of trolls. Best thing is to grow a thick skin, and be polite to old-timers, even if they snap at ya.

Additionally, the 'outing' of Kerry will validate the existance and the efforts of hundreds of thousands of good men and their noble endeavor in Southeast Asia.

I believe this is a real benefit for me, personally along with all my other brothers from 33 years ago. A good thing about Kerry making it the center piece of his campaign and bragging about being a hero, is that awoke many Vietnam veterans and now they are telling the story of Kerry and his lies to their kids, grandkids, coworkers, friends and neighbors. Many of us had never thought we would be able to rid ourselves of the scourge of his lies, and many hadn't discussed their feelings about it for many, many years.

I work with a democRAT who is in his 30's. He had no idea of what Kerry did in 1971. He wondered why I was sooooo angry at Kerry and I have been 'educating' him for the past couple months. He hasn't quit drinking the Kerry Kool-Aid just yet, but he has told me a number of times he has learned so much about the Vietnam veterans and what we went through. I think when the Swifties keep plugging and hopefully get on a broadcast network, many like him will come to distrust the FRAUD / TRAITOR.

I know many Vietnam vets that I work with who have regained some confidence that Hanoi John will be exposed since the Swifties started coming forward. It has help ease the knots in many of our guts.

As a Marine, (we are know to bash sailors), I can honestly say that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth is the greatest bunch of sailors I ever saw! They make me VERY PROUD!

Any of you folks feel the same kinda effects?
