So, more than 45 minutes after the second tower was hit, as Sen. Kerry was evacuating the Capitol, his "immediate feeling" was that America was "at war." In his own words, it took Sen. Kerry 45 minutes to come to this conclusion.

A P.S. on their note:
P.S. Again, we do not fault Sen. Kerry or President Bush for
their reactions immediately following the 9/11 attacks. But
we find it offensive that Moore and Left leaders are trying
to use those tragic events to attack our President. Please
help Grassfire expose the Left's agends and Michael Moore's
misleads.

It should also be noted that among some of the 'rat commentators, those 7 minutes have grown to 27. Sick, lying jerks.

"nobody could think." Just what we all want, a President who's unable to think in a time of crisis. I guess Kerry was too busy being "sensitive" to think.

---And then word came from the White House, they were evacuating, and we were to evacuate, and so we immediately began the evacuation.---
Thank goodness the President told him what to do, else Kerry would still be sitting there!

I remember the speculation after the first plane hit the WTC, that it was a small private aircraft. Knowing that the Empire State Building was hit in the late 1940's, it seemed reasonable that the 9-11 event was indeed an accident. Obviously, the subsequent events proved that speculation as incorrect.

KERRY: I was in the Capitol. We'd just had a meeting -- we'd just come into a leadership meeting in Tom Daschle's office, looking out at the Capitol. And as I came in, Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, The plot thickens, those reprobates sat in and anticipation of How will we use this against the President? Or can we "fool" the people of the United States?

it is important to point out the hypocrisy of Sen. Kerry by looking at what Kerry himself did at that same moment in time. I yield to no one in my loathing of Senator Kerry, but there's no hypocrisy here. The fact that he was sitting with other Senators for 40 minutes is irrelevant. He's got no governing responsibilities. Bush does. I disagree with the criticism of Bush for sitting still in that classroom, but it's a legitimate point for debate. To call Kerry a hypocrite for making that criticism while he did nothing himself for 40 minutes is just nonsense.

The DNC talking point tries to say that Bush "blew it" by not taking the threat seriously for 7 or 27 minutes. But Kerry and the other democrats are not taking the threat seriously after nearly three years.

What Did John Kerry Do On 9/11?
I think we all know the answer to this one:
He sat there like a stuned beeber.
