So, more than 45 minutes after the second tower was hit, as Sen. Kerry was evacuating the Capitol, his "immediate feeling" was that America was "at war." In his own words, it took Sen. Kerry 45 minutes to come to this conclusion.

A P.S. on their note:
P.S. Again, we do not fault Sen. Kerry or President Bush for
their reactions immediately following the 9/11 attacks. But
we find it offensive that Moore and Left leaders are trying
to use those tragic events to attack our President. Please
help Grassfire expose the Left's agends and Michael Moore's
misleads.

It should also be noted that among some of the 'rat commentators, those 7 minutes have grown to 27. Sick, lying jerks.

In Kerry's own words, "nobody could think."
He still suffers from this malady....no? </sarcasm off

"nobody could think." Just what we all want, a President who's unable to think in a time of crisis. I guess Kerry was too busy being "sensitive" to think.

"Moore goes to great lengths in an attempt to show that President Bush didn't know what to do when he first found out that America was under attack on 9/11"
Said this before to the many treads. I'm sure the Secret Service was instructing the President, not just mentioning the Towers were hit. There is a protocol that the President must follow. The first and foremost thing the Secret Service must do is to make sure the President is save and that the exit strategy was clear. At the time, there was no way that they could determine that an attack may have been also targeted at President since it was known where he was. Get it???????? This shows how stupid fat a$$ Moore is. All CRATS that continue to harp on this are in the same class - stupid. I mentioned this to a few of my CRAT friends and they shut up fast. Guess they figure they were being stupid.

You are "right on!"
Plus not only were the SS trying to keep the president safe, also the vice-president, Laura, their daughters, Supreme Court, Congress, White House and Capitol staff..............a lot to think about.
I think the protocol procedures needs to be talked about more in the news. But doubt that ABCNNBCBS or the nytlatwp will ever approach the subject.
(Yes, I fully realize that this protocol is secret), but couldn't they (the media) mention that it exists?

I like your sense of humor there!
Kerry was definitely "MIA" that day for almost a whole hour!
Please, I do not mean to be derogatory towards any veterans who truly were MIA. (I think all of you get the drift about Kerry, however.)

---And then word came from the White House, they were evacuating, and we were to evacuate, and so we immediately began the evacuation.---
Thank goodness the President told him what to do, else Kerry would still be sitting there!

I remember the speculation after the first plane hit the WTC, that it was a small private aircraft. Knowing that the Empire State Building was hit in the late 1940's, it seemed reasonable that the 9-11 event was indeed an accident. Obviously, the subsequent events proved that speculation as incorrect.

KERRY: I was in the Capitol. We'd just had a meeting -- we'd just come into a leadership meeting in Tom Daschle's office, looking out at the Capitol. And as I came in, Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, The plot thickens, those reprobates sat in and anticipation of How will we use this against the President? Or can we "fool" the people of the United States?

I stand corrected. Even so, it was an accident. Wasn't it?
