Welcome to the Freedom Institute "I make a fortune from criticizing the policy of the government, and then hand it over to the government in taxes to keep it going" - George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950).

The Institute is a radical new initiative, designed to develop policies to make Ireland a better place for all of its citizens. Its membership is drawn from an array of backgrounds, and is rising on a monthly basis.

Our principles can be described in four key points, namely pro-freedom, pro-enterprise, less government and strengthened security.

The core activities of the Freedom Institute are simple. We publish regular reports to influence citizens to support our principles. Our staff are always available to discuss our position on any issue with the media. In addition, we propose to organise regular seminars throughout Ireland to spread our message.

To join us, email webmaster@freedominst.org. Membership is free to all.

See, CATO, FreeRepublic.com type organisations are spreading - this fella in Ireland is fighting the good fight against an ever intrusive Govt. They have some excellent articles on Freedom and Economic sucess in lots of areas - great reading - some of it more Libertarian than conservative - but lost of interesting articles.

I wish them the best of luck now that they belong to the European Union Of Soviet Socialist Republics V2.0.

Murtyo, I'm a few months late posting on this thread (just browsing with the 'IRISH' keyword), but did did you ever hear of another Irish institute called the Open Republic Institute?
