Also, if you would be so kind as to check in after, we would appreciate it.
God Bless all of you!

Well, kinda -- as it peaks between all the clouds. We could still get some "wrap-around" effect later in the morning with lots of rain. Winds don't look to be a concern.
Copied & added- thanks!
Been praying for a few days - I live near Biloxi and have asked God to make it miss us, then asked forgiveness for wishing it on others. Final plea was to make it weak and minimize damage/loss of life as much as possible. He seems to be answering prayers...Will now pray for those in the path of Bonnie and Charlie
I live up in Pennsylvania and am quite worried about these systems. We've already had a ton of rain. We're getting more today - then the remnants of Bonnie are forecast to go just to our west, and then the remnants of Charley areforecast to come right at us. Toss in a stalled frontal boundary to help squeeze out additional rain, and you could have some serious flooding here.
.
Yeah, we've had a ton of rain down here in the DC area too. We had some torrential downpours yesterday, along with some dime-sized hail! I grew up in Wilmington, DE and they've had a lot of rain too. It's going to be ugly this weekend.
Charley is starting to show a clearly visibile eye.
Hurricane Agnes killed a lot of people in PA and MD; the most death and damage was after she devolved.
I wasn't going to use the A-word. Plus, Agnes stalled over the region, whereas both of these systems are going to scoot by fairly quickly. But the back-to-back whammy over an already saturated region is definitely worrisome.
Yup, I saw that. There was a good eyewall for a while before that too.
Does this mean I can't go down the shore tom.
Where are you going?
Ocean City NJ.
