I watched Lanie Davis on Bucannan's show on MSNBC, and he and whoever coached him on the facts hasn't done their homework. He is not aware of the fact that Steve Gardner WAS on Kerry's boat. Davis does not know the timeline or the circumstances of each of the medal incidents, and could be destroyed by someone who has the facts down. Davis will probably read this, as you can imagine that the Demorats are monitoring anything having to do with the SBVFT.

Regardless, I can see no way Kerry can get out of this one. I think the following points are irrefutable and will force realization of just what Kerry is, a liar and a fraud.

1.) Ask "Why shouldn't Kerry's military career receive the same level of scrutiny that Bush's endured? The Democrats and the Press pressured and cajoled Bush, lying about his being AWOL, denegrating his National Guard experience. And and even after ALL of their lies have been disproven, and all of Bush's military records had been released, they continue with fraudulent inuendos. Kerry can either answer the charges truthfully, without ad hominem attacks on real veterans by his paid liars like Davis, or he is a craven liar.

2.) I saw an article that exposed one of Kerry's "Band of Brothers" as falsely listed as one of Kerry's crewmembers. Who knows the skinny behind this?

3.) I get the impression that Rassman went along with this whole affair, since Kerry did fish him out of the river, and , hey, what could it hurt? Now he finds that he has to back up a lie, that Kerry was under fire during the rescue. I'll bet he would rather not be on the spot like this. So, does anyone know if he and the others are getting paid, and how much, so that Kerry can continue his charade?

4.) No discussion of this issue should get more than a sentence before you state that Kerry could easily "clear all this up, once and for all! Sign the ONE EIGHT OH! Release the records, and put all doubt to rest. If he refuses, he is the lying craven traitor we all know him to be.

Death threats, intimidation, email viruses and Denial-of-Service attacks against the Vets and their site are just the tip of the iceberg. It is going to get worse. Remember the Clinton Slime Machine? Therrrrrrre back!

Vets, keep careful notes. I'm looking forward to reading a follow-up book that details all the intimidation tactics being used against you as you try to exercise your right to free speech.

How about finding ways to get the word out to more vet, both active duty and separated vets. Kerry has trashed the Guard and Reserve, trashed his fellow Viet vets, and hasn't taken any time or effort to do anything with current active duty folks.

These folks all have families and if you can convince them to talk to families, the word will get out. Unfortunately, many Dims won't get ANY negative info on the alphabet channels. Just a thought.

I just tried to buy the book "UNFIT TO COMMAND" at the local BORDERS Book Store and they told me they were not scheduled to receive it until the END of November!!! When told it was released Yesterday, they said good luck trying to find it. WELL, ONE MORE ORDER FOR AMAZON!!Looks like a stonewall in the bookstores too.

I haven't read through all of the replies. But I do want to say that I admire these Swift Boat vets. They showed courage by going to war in the first place (I know, we're supposed to think that Kerry is the only courageous one who ever went. We can't trash him, but we can trash the others), and they're showing courage again by standing up for what they believe.

I do tend to believe them - I hope to get the book soon, so I'll have a more definite opinion. But what I really like is that they brought this all out months before the election, and Kerry has more than enough time to respond. He can release his records (Bush had to release all of his, so why not?), and he can bring witnesses, have debates, or whatever.

Kerry is the one who based his campaign on his 4 months in Nam, so that is what we have to judge him by.
