Kerry's talk of having a 'sensitive' War on Terrorism has struck fear in the hearts of the terrorists, it seems.
[Yeh, right!]

Green glass? Is that like glass parking lot?
By whom? The Wall Street Journal?
Mmm, yeah, or lake or pretty artifact...
If you want to see it....

Thanks but no thanks.
By journalists; the WSJ may have called them that, but did other journalists?
Having waited patiently thru the Cuban Missile Crisis, when I believe we all expected to see the mushrooms grow, and all the rest of the crisises since then, I couldn't have seen a better time to excercixe our capability, and use up some of our excess stockpile than at Oh dark 30 on 9/12. If we had acted with decicsiveness and cut the head off the chicken by reducing Mecca, Medina, and Qum to molten glass lakes, with the announcement that there would be more to come, and since said terroristi had no more shrine, nor religion to worship, they may as well fall on their swords, etc.......
On a lighter (conventional weaponry) note, I am all for (having witnessed same) ARC Lite style strikes on Najaf, or other city(ies)/areas where our military has been cowardly ambushed. We lose one brave Soldier/Sailor/Marine?Airman/Coastie, we simply reduce 3 sq klicks (3 for each casualty) to plowed fields with miscellaneous body parts protruding therefrom. Now, I realize that we have precision guided weapons, but there just "aint nothing like stark raving terror" of a BUFF dumping a full load off both internal and external racks. The ground quakes more than you could ever believe, and it just goes ON AND ON AND ON (kinda like the Energizer (TM) Bunny)
Sure, we have larger conventional weapons, like FAE, etc, but the sheer length and terror of a bomber stream unloading and unloading and unloading would terrify these idjits beyond recall.. Terrorists only understand terror, so I say bring it on.
If we have some who are loath to fly the mission, well, I may be 58, but I'm ready to report aboard and strap the BUFF on my butt.
Now, due to the fact that energy resources may be involved, the use of enhanced radiation devices should be closely considered....I would like to see fuel prices drop ;-)

YES! YES, YES!
Thanks for the kind words about my rant ;-) and my viewpoints on "Green Glass" and "Plowed Fields".
I do, however have one comment concerning the tape, yes, it's graphic, but after viewing the "beheading" there is at least the comfort that the victim was already dead when the beheading occurred... while this is small comfort for the family, at least he was spared the suffering of this act while living.
Note (if you watch the tape, that the person is slumped in the chair, and not moving. When the terrorist commits the act, there is NO ARTERIAL SPURTING, which would have occurred had the person been alive at the time. (Yes, I've seen it, and I will spare graphic description).
This, however, does not in the least mitigate anything these terrorists have done, and if found, the punishment should be instant, and fit the crime....possibly much slower to give the cowards some quality terror prior to their becoming deceased...... This also calls for several klicks of plowed fields in the vicinity, and the aftermath should be also videotaped and broadcast to these heathen b******s.
It's time to send a lesson to those who would commit such atrocities, a strong and unforgettable lesson, and to hell with collateral damage. Let them see what we are capable of doing, as many times as required.....

These terrorists are rabid pigs who should die.
