I'm a strong believer in Prayer. Over the years I've asked for prayers for a couple of my Grandchildren. Isaiah and Breanna. Both are fine now thanks mostly to the prayers of Family, Friends and Freepers. Thank you all again.
This week I was informed that I have Cancer of the Esophagus. I won't go into the details except to say I have a good team of Doctors working with me. The Coach of my team is the Great Physician and I trust him completely.
They are hoping for complete remission after treatment of chemotherapy and radiation. Surgery may be an option later on, but it isn't now.
I am literally half the man I was a year ago, I have lost between 70 and 80 pounds, but some of that can be attributed to being diagnosed late last year with diabetes.
Prayers sent, and I hope you will get better!
Silent Prayers for you.
Prayers sent. God, please grant healing and peace to MM7, and guidance to his doctors.

A small update. Today is the first day in awhile that I haven't had to go to one Doctor or another so I've been catching up on some rest.
My radiologist mentioned that after a second review of my CAT CSan that the lympth nodes embedded in my chest near the site of the cancer do not appear to be as swollen as previously though and may not be impacted by the cancer at all. This is truly an answer to prayer. Also on Friday I will have a feeding tube inserted in my intestines to supplement my feeding (now to figure out how to cram a banana split down the tube, :~) )and to boost my nourishment. I will be in the hospital overnight for the surgery.
I am reminded over and over again of the love of God expressed through the messages of this thread. I am truly blessed.
May the Lord continue to bless each of you for your kindness.

May God's Love guide, direct and comfort you and your family through the unknown.
Prayers for you Militiaman... from one cancer survivor for another.
Dear friend,
I pray for your health. And, even more importantly, I pray that you have asked Jesus Christ into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior; knowing that He is God's Son, and that He died to pay for your sins - and that He then rose from the dead. Then - no matter how long you are here - your eternity in Heaven will be secure.
You have my prayers tonight and tomorrow morning in Mass.
