The two centers don't look strong or organized as they were yesterday.

Everyone with interests in the Gulf Basin need to monitor this situation; present projections show Bonnie hitting the coast east of New Orleans early Friday, all bets on the other one are up in the air right now.
Just damn.
If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...

Looks like Houston is safe, although how I could glean that from Clive's wife's ultrasound I'm not sure.

Charley is looking more organized, but Bonnie is being ripped up by upper level shear from the northeast right now.
Most forecasts expect the shear to end because the air will be cut off by the front and should be allowed to strengthen.

This Intellicast track shows Bonnie recurving back east and hitting Pensacola late Thursday. I'm not sure if this is the National Hurricane Center forecast track or not. But the possible strike area is still from west of New Orleans clear over to the east end of the Florida Panhandle.

As long as they don't call for an evacuation.
And if they do,

I ain't, I ain't, I ain't, I ain't.

Well, that would fit right in with everything from boils to plagues of locusts being Bush's fault! Why not hurricanes?
