What impact does this have on his Florida seat? Porter Goss has already announced his retirement from Congress, is not running again.
Goss is from conservative SW Florida. Should not be a problem replacing him with another conservative.

I'd like to find out more about his perspective on the 9/11 commission's report, which was watered down and deliberately neutral on a number of issues due to its bipartisan makeup. I hope he has some independent ideas...
