I have just heard on KVI Talk Radio (John Carlson show) that they have just been told from a source on the ground in Iraq that al-Sadar has just been captured. They are waiting for more info. This person, I believe a soldier, John says is a very reliable source for news on the ground. Keeping my fingers crossed. John Carlson said he will provide more details as it comes in.
Maybe we can get these guys to let Kerry come over to create a re-enactment film for everyone to watch. You know where he jumps from a tank and pretends to be shooting a gun and all that neat stuff. Then he can use it in his campain to show he is a tough Socialist.

OldFriend - Don't count WA out. Clinton.Gore would of lost in Washington in 1992 if Perot was not a factor, assuming 2/3's of his voters would of voted for Bush. Many of his voters were Republicans driven away by the "read-my-lips" line.
Take away Seattle and Olympia and Washington is very much a Red state. If replublicans get out to vote, we out number the leftist voters in the big cities. No doubt a bout it.

Truth be told there are freepers in WA state.........but it seems such an uphill battle. The left there seems to be particularly wacky and out of touch with reality.
