As Bush rambled, looking like a schoolboy unprepared at the front of the class, many of the hundreds of Asian, black, Native American and Hispanic journalists gathered before him…well, snickered. They did snicker and that is a sign of what? A grand intelligence that believes that a sovereign nation means they need special treatment, special representation, special programs? Look it up, sovereign means free, independent and autonomous, it means sovereign, just as the President said. But to those who believe it means victim his correct answer seemed funny.

I saw that part of the speech, and it was kind of a 'Bush-ism' answer. I got a chuckle out of it. The question was indeed stupid and pointless, and I am sure took the President by surprise. Who the hell is concerned about this topic in this time of war. Anyway, I got a good laugh, and went back to counting the 1000s of reasons why Bush needs to be re-elected.
