How come nobody is outraged that Amazon is using McCain's comment as an "Editorial Review" and places it even before the Publisher's coments? Has McCain read the book? Did he intend his comment to be an editorial review? *I* am outraged! I just went to Amazon and saw it, too. I thought maybe they had been hacked on that first page, but they still quote him when you click on "Editorial Reviews" I'm writing them!

If Barnes & Noble wants to disavow any involvement, they will need to explain why they still have the image stored on their server.
Once the deception has been discovered it should be deleted.

I have just written an e-mail to Amazon expressing my (intense) displeasure with their using McCain's quote before the publisher's comments.
This is serious stuff, IMO.
However, changing the title of a book to falsify it is far more despicable than the placement of a negative quote.
It is immoral and it is illegal, and Barne's and Noble needs to pay for it.

This is serious stuff, IMO.
However, changing the title of a book to falsify it is far more despicable than the placement of a negative quote. Oh, I know! The B&N false pic and title had been 'fixed' by the time I got to the post about mcCain's 'review' at Amazon, and no one else was addressing that one, so wanted to ping a few of you to it, too. :)
