Israeli adults choose President Bush over Senator Kerry by a margin of 48% to 29%, according to a poll released last week in Israel;
Among Likud voters, the result was Bush 69% / Kerry 18%;
Among all voters polled, Bush beat Kerry 48% to 29% according to the article. That's news.
Thankfully many in the younger generation aren't buying it.
Cool.
Obviously they can't vote but it's nice to know who our real friends are in the world.
The Kerry phenomenon is retarded and intelligent and informed people are catching on.
I am not surprised that Israelis acknowledge that George Bush is the best friend Israel ever had,
I am surprised that many Jewish friends, including my dentist and his family,and Wall Streeter neighbors have said they are voting for Bush. They still think of themselves as "classic liberals" but say they have become Conservative, and that the overiding issues of Iraq and the war on terror have changed them.
I think this is one of those "under the radar" phenomenon that is not picked up by pollsters.
If it's true perhaps, it's not sourced. But I don't much care what the French think either. The same poll in 1999 would likely have favored Clinton.
A better indication than an unsourced poll below. Kerry wasn't whining for nothing.
I think the post is correct. I read this in the maariv print edition a some days ago while in Israel.
In that poll I recall that Labor party voters were only 40% for Bush and Shinui ones were over 50% for Bush.
Could somebody go talk to Soros as to what a menace Kerry is? I agree that Kerry and the rat party would toss Israel to the wind in a heartbeat.
