I'm listening ... honorable SwiftVet giving all the details of the chain of command and what everybody's duties were. He specifically assembled all the orders as the operational commander for the swifties. He remembers a couple encounters with Kerry at the Officer's club because Kerry was always whining to people and very negative. In "John Kerry, Tour of Vietnam" (Kerry's book) Kerry described everything their crews did as a complete failure yet commander notes he could move around anywhere he wanted to & only carried a 45 along his side, offers observation because he truly believes the war was lost in the US. He's speaking out now because - as Senator - Kerry had no control over military and, now, the vets realize, this man they knew would lead armed forces and would be a tragedy.
