Kerry train snubs supporters. (Imus ranch kids)
Leo Carpathian

Posted on 08/09/2004 5:37:18 AM PDT by Leo Carpathian

Imus on his Monday morning show spend quite a bit of time roasting Kerry and his campaign management for snubbing his supporters at Imus ranch in New Mexico. Kerry's train was scheduled to pass through Imus Ranch, where children with cancer are spending time and Imus was trying to reach campaign stuff through Tom Brokaw and have them stop, or slow down to wave to the kids and supporters at the ranch. Rail tracks pass through the ranch property and trains are forced to slow down passing through the S curve, so Imus and the kids were hoping that they would have a chance to see or wave at their favorite candidate. Fat chance. All they saw was bunch of smokers at the rear platform of the train. Imus was quite disappointed and commented how much they supported Kerry and how their wives are friends, etc.

This is another "thank you" to Kerry's supporters after they failed to stop at the scheduled train stop and Edwards had to come back and appologize. Looks like they are confident in the the election victory and "don't need no more stinkin' support" :-)

Way to go!

LOL..
Imus had the RNC chairman on last week and asked him if there was any reason he should vote for Bush instead of "Kerry, the man I intend to vote for".

Maybe this will help push him over the top :)

Imus will have to make a huge climbdown to back away from Kerry.

But he will.

Chris

Only thing that would have improved this story is if Imus was tied to the tracks.

I don't really believe he ever supported Kerry. I think the "huge climbdown" flip-flop is planned and just part of his bit to keep people listening.

Imus is just making radio. He's also busting balls over the air to get something from Kerry for nothing. Guaranteed that in two days Kerry will be at the ranck kissing ass.

And how's that ranch for a great Architectural Digest retirement condo?

But....I thought RATS were the party that was going to protect us from the evils of tobacco. But now it appears that there are RATS on a RAT train that actually smoke? The horror.

If he can do a f-f on "THE Beast", he can F-F JF'nKerry.

Their wives are friends? Not surprising. Both are nuttier than fruitcakes.

LOL!

Street whores service their customers for money. Radio, and TV whores are no different.

They either perform the service or they lose customers.

Does anyone else ever get the feeling that some of Kerry's campaign staffers aren't working for his own best interests?

They make lots of stupid little mistakes - all those stupid photo ops, now snubbing one of the radio loudmouths that "supports" him.

Little mistakes, but I think they're adding up.

Intentional, or are they all just that clueless?

Well, if dead people can vote I'm sure we can come up with a way to let the little kiddies cast a vote too... (wink, wink).

Nor do I.

Note that like all other JF'nK supporters, they have nothing good to say about Kerry. They simply say that they are going to VOTE for Kerry.

That tells me that I MAN, like all other Kerry supporters, just hates Bush and is voting ABB.
