Sure, it's San Francisco, but they are floating the idea of a female president. Of course, Hillary's name is the one that comes up. (Yeah, I know, we've been talking about it for years...)

This is feministmajority.com activism. There has never been any "margaret thatcher" woman of character in the united states. There are no such women in the political wings.

There already was...right before Reagan.

Will there be a female president in your lifetime?
No. Perhaps a woman Premier, or lady Prime Minister; but, if we continue this crap the republic as we know it will be coming to an end.

Not in MY lifetime. Especially if Kerry gets in. With Bush, there's a good chance that the terrorists will be taken down enough that the American people "might" think about a woman president, but with Kerry.....no way. We'll all be so tramatized by terrorist hits that there is no a chance in the world the country would elect a woman president.

The first female president will be a Republican. The first black president will be a Republican. The first hispanic president will be a Republican.

No. And there will be no female Prime Minister of Australia in my lifetime, either.
Both political systems are biased against females, sad to say...

I'm not so concerned about a female President coming to power as I am about a female Furher.

A bull is also headstrong, ambitious and tough, but is it qualified to be Commander 'n Chief.
