When Buffy the Chihuahua lost a puppy during a C-section July 29, the doctor sent her home with a replacement for consolation a chipmunk weighing less than an ounce.
Marty the chipmunk has adapted well to Buffys nursing, surprising even his caretaker.
He wont know hes a chipmunk when his eyes open, said Imogene Wills, 70, the dogs owner.

While digging around for a David Seville (Ross Bagdasarian's alias) wav file of the trademark "AL VIN!!!" yell, I dug up some interesting info on Bagdasarian.
Here's a bit of trivia you will probably never need, but I had no idea that David Seville was the talent behind the hit, "Witch Doctor". When you think of the witch doctor's voice in that song, the resemblance to the Chipmunk voices makes perfect sense.
And yes, I probably need to get out more.
My miniature dachshund longhaired female once got over 6' up a tree, going after a squirrel.
I hatched several ducks and a chicken in an incubator several years ago. They all thought I was their mother and the chicken thought he was a duck. We named him Chuck.
Yeah, this is cute and all. But the first time that d*** chipmunk starts killing my chickens, I'll ... ;)

My mini wirehair doxie watches squirrels but is way too lazy to chase one. She doesn't even like other dogs. Just girls and daddy. She's PERFECT!!
